A-ONE
Bangkok Hotel, New Petchburi Road
We stayed for 1 night while in transit to China the next morning.
Great business hotel but far from all touristic areas. 30km from airport
not as close to new airport. Do not take airport limousine, it is
3x more expensive than taximeter. Nice, well decorated rooms, great
service by hotel concierge, although they charged us local calls for
making restaurant reservations. Good breakfast buffet. Would recommend
if in short transit to Bangkok. Good way to finish trip in Thailand. |

A-ONE Bangkok Hotel, New Petchburi Road
Modern and elegant but slightly out of the way. There were some taxis
that wouldn t take us from town back to our hotel without trying to
charge us a ridiculous amount of money. The hotel staff were rude
and pretentious at times, and they were making rude comments in Thai
not knowing that we spoke the language and understood everything they
were saying. The restaurant was way to expensive and is not worth
wasting your money. Go into town and spend fractions less. Luckily
the room was great. Comfortable bed and great shower. A-One is expensive
and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a cheaper hotel closer to
town and with a friendlier staff. |

A-ONE Bangkok Hotel, New Petchburi Road
We had made reservation and paid for Royal suite, but when we arrived,
the room was not available. the hotel offerred us junior suite and
executive room, which we had to take, since we re travelling with
6 pers., it would have been rather difficult to find something else
just for 2 nights. The rooms were nice, hotel beautiful, staff friendly,
but still we were very disappointed that we had to stay in two separate
rooms instead of the royal suite. |
