Hotel was clean comfortable and located in the heart of a bustling city. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was excellent, great water pressure, clean and well maintained. Buffet Breakfast offered a huge array of choice and the freshly made omletes made by the CHEF (kobkun Ka chef) were fabulous!!! The only concern we had whilst staying at the Indra was that of the Safe in our room. The safe appeared to have a mind of its own and in the end we were forced to secure our valuables in our own luggage, probably not overly secure. I believe Safes not working is a problem thruout the Hotel. Indra may need to look at investing in an updated version of this safe. Overall, however highly recommend the Indra Hotel as a good quality hotel in Bangkok.

Good Hotel, reasonable room-rates, very good location for shopping. The prices for lunch/dinner are definitively too high, also for drinks. All in all I will surely return to this hotel and can recommend it to other travelers.

My wife and the teenage boy and I had a junior-suite. We ordered an extra bed but didn t need it when we saw the two large ones and had it taken away. They first took us to a new suite on the 14th floor with a large new bathroom that has a glass enclosed shower. The suite is located at the end of a corridor which has a double door separating the two end suites from the corridor. We were totally impressed -- until we smelled the strong odor of urine. Some pig ruined a brand new nice room for the hotel and us! I mentioned to the front desk and they immediately moved us to another jr-suite at the lower level which is older and isn t quite as nice and has an older bathroom but adequate. The male-staff in the lobby with the blue uniforms is not helpful and just loitering around. I asked two separate ones a question on where to go in the neighborhood for meals and they were totally unhelpful when they know that there is no personal gain for them for helping. Also, need to watch out for those guys at the front of the hotel in white uniforms and wearing some sort of name tags. I think they just pretend to be hotel staff and try to rip you off with their offer of limousine rides. The hotel itself is very nice. The breakfast spread is wonderful. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is good but expensive. The McDonald downstairs surprisingly serves better hamburgers than those in the US. The food court in the Indra complex however is not worth your time. For those who want to venture out for meals, just walk less than 10 minutes through the mess up the main road to the shopping malls and you will find some nice food courts. I wished that someone had told us that earlier. For those who enjoy walking through flea market type stalls, there are virtually millions of them inside and outside of the hotel complex. Would we come back? Probably not due to the messy neighborhood and the air pollution on the local streets.

Great as always! This is our fifth visit to Indra Regent. Bitterly disappointed however in the removal of the coffee lounge/dining room on ground floor. Still excellent value and handy location.

Indra Regent was ok - the room was clean and so was the bathroom and it was also very spacious. The location was not too good tho because Pratunam is VERY VERY traffic. The good thing is that it is walking distance to several malls like Platinum and there s one adjacent to the hotel. If you re looking to shop when in Bangkok and don t mind walking around in the heat, then Indra would be your best choice.

We loved the hotel. It was close to everything, clean, quiet, just what you need in the centre of Bangkok!

Hotel was ok, not as nice looking rooms that you might expect looking at the pictures at the web page though. Breakfast buffet was ok. Location was good, close to many shopping sites. Overall, hotel rated for us as ok but we ll probably use another one next time.

I have to be honest and say that the hotel had a number of problems. The A/C was so weak that the rooms and even the lobby had a musty smell to them. the breakfast buffet was not very good at all. The water was bad as was most of the rest of the buffet. Unfortunately I would not stay there again.

The hotel may not the most fanciest one, but a solid, clean and somewhat luxurious place to stay and relatively close both to the airport and shopping places. On Saturday morning at 8.20 it just took 25 minutes by taxi!

very good location, very good rooms, but the ugly thing is that the door men don t give you good service, all the time they want to send you the massage (sex) and want to take you to place that they get money from them (suit and more).
