This is a very nice hotel and a very good location. The room is clean,
and the service at the reception is friendly and helpful. Breakfast
is good, and the pool is perfect in the middle of Bangkok. Great value
for money. We stayed at Royal Princess twice this year and once last
year. Will definately return once in Bangkok. |

Very nice hotel, central location, good value for money. Walking distance
to Grand Palace etc. Room was nice, with view of pool. Only complaints
were hard beds and small fitness room - only 1 treadmill and 1 exercise
bike. |

We had a very nice stay at Royal Princess. We would like to give the
staff the best character. Very good service and both polite and friendly.
The food was very good and tasteful. Nice swimmingpool - but no-one
else were swimming...... A little minus for our room. The chairs could
be better to relax in... and the bathroom was a little old fashion.
But we would sure like to visit Royal Princess again!!! |

Let me start out by saying this hotel is not nearly as nice as it
looks. It is, at best, a 3 star facility. While the staff is polite
and competent, the hotel itself is very tired and in dire need of
remodeling. The carpet in the lobby is dirty, though the outside was
getting a coat of paint while I was there. The phone in my room s
bathroom was hanging by its wire, there was mold in the shower/tub,
and the plumbing is ancient. Nothing about this hotel made me want
to return. The balcony overlooks dirty tenaments next door, completely
killing an atmosphere it may have otherwise had. There was not even
a bedspread on the bed. Don t let the photos on this website fool
you. It s just not that nice. That being said, a deluxe room would
be a decent buy at $30 US per night, but not more. |

Good quality in respect to the price. Very friendly staff. But be
aware at the door/bell-men: they are always trying to sell you taxi
rides costing 5 times more than the taxi-meter fare! |

A little more expensive than a hostel, but if this hotel is within
your budget I would highly recommend a stay here. The service and
facilities are excellent, as is the location. At the time of our visit,
the hotel was also offering a free bus service to Patpong. Affordable
air-conditioned sanctuary from the madness of Bangkok. Great for first-time
visitors to the city. |
