We had a very pleasant stay at lebua. We stayed in a one bedroom suite
with two kids. Nice pool and fitness club. We will definitely recommend
lebua and look forward to come back next year. |

This was a very memorable stay- the hotel service and suite were 100%.We
thought the new roof top restaurant was wonderful- beware the bill
for two came to £100! To surprise us further- who should be eating
there the second night- non other than the King of Thailand to celebrate
his son s birthday.Neeless to say the restaurant was closed! |

Our first time to this fantastic top class hotel, with superb service
and facilities. We have previously stayed in the Marriott Riverside,
the Shangri La and the Sheraton on the river, two of the Amari hotels
and the Dusit Thani (my personal favourite). Quite pricey (for Thailand)
on the food and drinks but the quality and presentation is fabulous.
We had a one bed suite which was superb value for money - although
we did hear that the pricing is going up soon. The roof top restaurant
and bar(s) have spectacular views of the city as long as you don t
suffer from vertigo! Would definitely return to this hotel |

Such a wonderful hotel has a large space, beautiful view and sweet
service! I really love it! Next time if I go to Bangkok ,I must live
in lebua again. That s the best choice. The most important is this
time they upgraded our room. So lucky! ¡@ |

The hotel is nice, location is better than I expected from other Sawadee
feedbacks - 7min walk to BTS, but you have to walk thru a very busy
street. The room quality is very good, although as suites go, I have
seen bigger. Service is faultless and unobtrusive (a big plus!), and
staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel occupies the few top
floors in a tall tower building, and as such, does not have its own
landmark building. Does not give the feeling of a busy hotel, you
do not feel that much is going on, unless you venture and look for
it. They are gearing up to open the new restaurant on the 52nd floor,
and this is the main focus for everyone. Everytime you take the lift,
there is an obligatory stop on the 52nd, where the doors slide open
to a huge sign of coming soon... 2 meters away, which became rather
annoying after a week. Breakfast is very good, with a number of continental
or asian choices, still enjoyable a the end of our 7 days stay. NEgative
side: I wrote to the hotel before arrival asking if there is a pick-up
service or a shuttle bus from the airport, as you d expect from a
5 star hotel. Never received a reply, but when we arrived, there was
a luxury car waiting for us from the hotel - very nice, I thought.
Only upon checkout I was told that this car is costing me about $65,
which is more than 4 times the normal taxi fare. Probably worth the
drive in a BMW 730, but it would have been nice to be told in advance.
Overall, a recommended stay. I would go back, but there is so much
choice out there, I would just love to explore a new venue. |

Fine hotel, equipped and roomy suite, wonderful view from the balcony,
hospitable staff and an elaborate lay for bfast make this a great
place to stay! The hotel is not that close to the markets and shopping
centers but a 20 min cab ride at 80 Bhatt each way (thats only US$2)
will take you to the main shopping hub where you can spend all day,
return tired in the evening and jump in the pool/sauna/steam. Best
thing about the fitness/pool/sauna area is that its open till 10pm,
and doesn t close early evening like most other hotels. That will
give you enough time to spend all day away from the hotel and still
return in time to utilize these facilities. Rooms were cleaned once
daily but towels and bvlgari shampoo/soap etc were replaced twice
daily as was the cleaning of the toilet/bathroom. Staff was the most
subservient I ve seen in any hotel in Bangkok. This might make some
western tourists uncomfortable but coming from a country where servants
do everything for me, it added a nice homely touch. Food in the morning
was wonderful and the buffet menu was very elaborate. You d need at
least an hour of rest after bfast before you could consider leaving
the hotel. One word of caution: They will do everything they can to
keep the balcony locked citing safety reasons. If you don t have kids
with you, all you need to do is make a strong vocal protest and they
will open the balcony provided you sign an agreement absolving the
hotel of any blame in case of an accident. The protest is worth it,
because the balcony is gorgeous as is the view of the chao praya from
it. An added incentive of booking this hotel was the stay 3 nights,
pay for 2 nights deal which made this stay even sweeter. |

Excellent hotel. Room is unbelievably spacious, and has a fantastic
view of Bangkok. Everything feels 5-star. The Dome restaurant is a
must. Amazing atmosphere looking over Bangkok at night. Only thing
is taxi s don t know how to get here. Always bring along a card with
the hotel name and address. |

There was an article in the Bangkok Post about Le Bua the day I left
on June 25. New management has high aspirations to increase occupancy.
As it is I consider Le Bua to be one of the best deals in Bangkok.
Before it was La Bua it was Meritus Suites and for the last 3 years
and 8 trips to Thailand that is where I have stayed while in Bangkok.
I like the location and I like the rooms, either one bedroom or two
bedroom. There is no room meal service and there is no workout room.
But if you want a room which makes you feel like you re home in the
middle of the Silom area, this is the place to go. |
