Riverside Hotel Bangkok, Rama III Road
Montien Riverside Hotel I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
in a fit. This hotel has disgusted me with their discrimination policy
to their own people which was only notified to me by e-mail 24hrs
before my arrival !! I booked the hotel months ago from Australia
and on the eve of the booking I was told that unless my partner has
an Australian passport she would be charged an extra Baht1000 per
night !!! I promptly cancelled my booking in disgust and had to succumb
to a forfeiture of Baht3200 that is one night s booking. This hotel
is an absolute disgrace and let it be known. |

Montien Riverside Hotel Bangkok, Rama III Road
For this price you will not find something better.Room was very clean
and big,bathroom very nice(glassshower,marmorfloor) and clean as well.The
lobby is breathtaking.The best:the ultimative view over Bangkok and
the chao phraya river(19th floor,view by night:wow!!).next year again!But:food
in the restaurant outside :nothing special and too expensive. |

The Montien is good value for money compared to other hotels and has
a very high service level for the price. We were able to check in
at 7.00 am - no problem for example. Good pool area with tennis, tabel
tennis, gym etc. |

excelent river view. excelent breakfest bad location, it is far from
city and need shatel/taxi. it is close to Rama III mall. nice swiming
pool but any service cost a lot of money (sauna, internet) no coffe
at room. |

Excellent, nicely appointed rooms, attentive and friendly service,
good amenities, great breakfast buffet in the light airy Cafe with
floor-to-ceiling windows over a lovely garden. Other restaurants,
lounge, and enty are also excellent, and very convenient having a
24 hour Cafe. It is a certainly high value for money. Although one
is far from the city center, out of reach of the water taxi, and dependent
on taxis, the hotel does provide an hourly shuttle. This was my second
stay, and I would return. Besides this one, I have also stayed several
times at the Pattaya Montien Hotel, so I know Montien provides high
quality in a reasonable price range, what I like to call Five Star
Hotel at Three Star Prices! Great! |

Management had high expectations on itself, put a lot of Thai traditional
elements to give foreigners the Thai feeling. Safe, quiet remote and
protected against immorality. View on the river is spoiled by uncleaned
windows, bathroom is impressive |

What a fantastic hotel and staff. To stay in a hotel like this for
me, was a dream come true, except for the cigarette burns in the carpet
in my room. It was amazing, beautiful, upmarket, clean, friendly.
Will definately go back ! |

We were very pleased with both the hotel and the staff, they were
super!!. We will hereby recommend the buffet on weekends, that was
really something to remember, the food was outstanding just like the
service on the premises. |
