I have stayed in this hotel a few times as I like its location which is close to the Huay Kwang MRT station and the night market. The room (now wooden flooring) and toilet have been renovated. But the 32 LCD TV is now encased in a wooden frame which is silly. Hotel guests cannot now plug in their own DVD or video player devices. Movies are dubbed in Thai and I wonder why. Though I asked for a non smoking room, I did not get one. Worst is that when I first walked into my room, the heavy stench of tobacco was overbearing. Lifts and lift lobby areas often smelt of cigarette. Surely house keeping dept can improve on the quality of rooms by opening up windows or doors for a few more minutes to get rid of the smell. They can use fragrance spray too. This is not difficult to achieve. Breakfast is above average and it has a nice gym at the 2nd floor for guests use (Free).

Great Stay. Far away from all the troubled spots which saw all the violence.

This was the second time I lived in this hotel. The room is more wonderful than I expected. The location is convenient because it is easy to go to the local night market by foot and other place by MRT.Especially, the price of the room is reasonable.

I stayed here for one night in January before going to Suvarnabhumi airport and it was fine for my short stay in a Superior room then. This time I stayed in a deluxe room. The only difference was that it was on a higher floor with a view over the city, but also over what looked like a water treatment plant below, and the room had a dressing gown and slippers. Also slightly smaller room than the Superior one. Whilst there I also saw the top of the range rooms, which had a CD/DVD player and in room safe, but these were smaller in size to the other 2. Overall the Superior rooms seemed better value for money. Breakfast again had a good selection on the buffet. Both English and Asian food.
