Highly recommneded although pricey. Very much enjoued our high tea in the lobby! All ammenties supplied and room lovely and very comfortable pillows. Little piece of luxury during our travels. Ferry service to cross the river was very handy and the staff on boat very helpful giving good advice etc. All staff friendly and efficient.

Superb Hotel with a good location on the river. Breakfast very good but expensive. Staff very friendly. Dinner did not live up to expectations, better to eat out.

Absolutely wonderful hotel in every respect. Arguably the best in Bangkok. Wonderful suite with great amenities, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurants. Not for the budget-conscious, but very reasonable when compared to what you would pay for a similar level of hotel in North America or Europe. Would definitely stay there again.

First Class Hotel. I stayed there the year it opened and again in April. IT is still one of the class in-city hotels of the world. While the price has doubled in 6 years at $220 inclusive it cannot be beat. The breakfast buffet while high priced by Bangkok standards @ $12 is one of the fimest ones and equal to the best of the Four Season Resort buffet breakfasts.

Very nice hotel with a fantastic view on the Chao Praya river and Bangkok. I made a reservation from september 2005 and i went there on beginning of february 2006 for a terrace room, they were fully booked so the gave me a suite for the same price but the terrace in open air is much better i think. When you planned a terrace room for 280 usd, i think you can expect what you order...

This is the most glorious hotel and I have ever stayed in. The staff waied us upon arrival and the room, restaurants, service, surroundings, and hotel staff all deserve a 5 star rating. Truly a memorable and one-of-a-kind experience. As a USA traveler, I hope to return to Thailand again one day and The Peninsual Bangkok is a must.

What an amazing hotel, definitely a cut above the celebrated Oriental Bangkok (although it is also quite nice). The service was above and beyond and the food wonderful. The breakfast was out of this world and if allowed, we would have grazed all day! When we return to Bangkok, we will stay at no other hotel. This is top notch and rivals any 5 star in Europe or America.

Great location on the river. All rooms with views. Our first room smelled like mold/mildew. We were moved to another room that was perfect. Would likely stay there again if to return to Bangkok.
