hotel room is big enough for 3 beds, very spacious and clean. bathroom
is also big enough and clean. staff is very accomodating and courteous.
very good deal. will definitely stay here again. |

The only downside is that the hotel is located on a street that even
the taxi drivers have difficulty finding. Out of the 5 taxi trips
I took back to the hotel, I had to direct 4 of them to the hotel.
I would suggest printing the Thai address of the hotel to show to
the taxi driver. That aside, the hotel was really lovely. The hotel
staff were really friendly, and checking in was of no hassle. Reading
the other reviews on PJ Watergate on ground floor rooms being not
as good, I asked straight away for a room on the second or third floor.
The room was clean, nice and relatively spacious. I got an even numbered
room where the window view was the beer garden. The odd numbered rooms
window appears to be facing a wall, so depending on your luck, you
might not get a nice window view. Breakfast was good, with a relatively
good spread of food and nice ambience. In terms of value for money,
this hotel gets two thumbs up from me. I ve tried other cheap hotels
and so far, PJ Watergate comes out tops for great service and facilities
for a low price. Will definitely stay there again when I visit Bangkok
next time. |

PJ Watergate Hotel, Ratchaprarop Road, Pratunam
This was the second time I stayed at PJ Watregate. It is cheap and
close to key shopping areas. Staff is very friendly. Facilities required
by any traveller are available. The most attracting thing for me is
the outdoor beer garden. Next time also I will stay at PJ Watergate.

Our experience at the PJ Watergate Hotel was very disappointing considering
the lack of cleanliness of the room. On top of that, this hotel clearly
demands for refurbishment work that for sure must include the removal
of carpets. We also think the interior rooms, with no windows, should
be deemed storage and not guest rooms - in saying that the rooms that
do have windows are just a meter from the nearest building... Not
an experience to repeat!! |

The PJ Watergate is a very nice hotel. The staff was extremely friendly
and helpful. The nicest hotel staff we met during our three week stay
in Thailand. Our room was good, but the view was very bad - we we
looking right into a wall. That was the only minus however. The morning
buffet was tasty. Also, the hotel i situated in a quiet alley, and
there is good security - so it s safe and quiet. We can definately
recommend staying here. |

We were checked into a ground floor room 315. the sewer smell came
up through every drain and was disgusting. We changed to an upstairs
room which was good although initially staff were reluctant to move
us to another room. After that the service was good, gym was good.

Hotel location is great. Reasonable service level, with acceptable
room quality, worth staying for such a low rate. Recommended. Must
give credit to taxi driver of the hotel, good service and polite,
helpful and charge reasonably. |

The hotel is near to shopping which is good. We had to change room
because of the smell. Take out the carpets and have non-smoking room.
We will absolut visit Bangkok again but not this hotel. |

Nice hotel, very good, especially for this price. Very close to Bayoke
sky, Pratunam, World Trade Center. But the map is not clear, it was
very difficult to find the way even for locals. |

room and price that we paid quite resonalable but the area a bite
hard for your visitors to find even local so if you don t mind these
sort of things you should stay there. |
