Silome
Serene, a boutique hotel, Silom Road, Soi 03 (Pipat)
Hotel was OK, it provided a quiet room and a bed. After staying at
a couple of 4/5 star hotels the service at this place was a letdown.
Not as much greetings or doors opened for you here. Are those important
not really but they add a nice touch. The room was dark and dated
and breakast was OK, did not go up for seconds at this place. No real
problems but not really exciting either, just average. I agree with
what someone said earlier, it should not be called a boutique hotel
as the ameninities and character of the hotel is not up to boutique
standards. |

It is not a boutique hotel at all. I would say it is normal and clean
hotel. Attitude and service were Ok but many staffs stayed around
the checking desk in the late night did not make me feel confortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. I have stayed at several
other hotels in BKK in this price range and the quality at this hotel
is certainly comparable. Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly
and helpful with arranging tours, dinner reservatons, spa bookings,
luggage storeage etc. The room was quite spacious and comfortable
for the price paid. I Would recommend this hotel if this the area
of BKK you like to stay in. |

helpful staff / nice rooms / average breakfast-not much choice for
muslim halal foods / night market nearby not too friendly /night time
walking from main road a bit dark /not too far from sala daeng station
/overall still good small hotel |

Excellent location off silom road. Close to skyrail and patpong market.
The room we had was the one bedroom suite. Excellent room with great
kitchen and huge areas. Very clean and up to date. The staff are excellent
and breakfast buffet huge. Swimming pool area very nice but if you
want to sun bake too much shadows.. Check in and out superb and their
limousine service to airport very reasonable price (700 baht taxi
cost 400). They have wireless internet and lan modem, however charge
by the day and not by the hour. All up a fantastic hotel. |

All the staff was helpful and friendly. They were very instrumental
in arranging airflight to phuket for me and my guest. I felt welcome
since the moment i checked in. Breakfast was wonderful and the room
was comfortable. Thank you very much |

Silom Serene was quite a disappointment. The one bedroom suite they
booked me in was not only gross, but it was smoking when I requested
non-smoking. The hotel only moved me into a non-smoking double bed
room because I had just come back from the hospital from an asthma
attack. Even then, they would not credit me the difference in the
room cost. The hotel itself was lacking in service and the location
is quite noisy. |

Wonderful hotel. A welcome escape from the hurly-burly that is everyday
Bangkok. Staff were always polite and helpful. When I next visit Bangkok
this will be the first place I check for availability. |

Second time staying here. Good location near BTS Sala Daeng. Just
off Silom Rd. which is busy and noisy. Hotel offers quiet place to
relax. Room was clean and well-appointed. Hotel had a nice small pool.
Breakfast included. Good value. Pleasant staff. Flight left at 11:50
p.m. Paid extra to check out at 6 p.m. Would stay here again and would
recommend to others. |

In an excellent position , near to shops & bars & the BTS . Front
of house staff efficient but not many smiles unlike the housekeeping
staff who were always happy & smiling . |
