Good hotel and good service in a borough who s changing and becoming
more international. New Spa and Thai massage on the 6th floor. The
swimming pool is a bit to cold. |

Tourist class hotel, a bit worn with oldfashioned rooms. Good cleaning.
Not so close to BTS as other reviews mentioned, and you have to pass
streetvendors and other things occupying the pavement. Poolarea ok
but also worn as the gym. Nice breakfast. We wanted a double bed but
got information at the check in at there were no rooms with double
bed?! I think there are many other better alternatives in this pricerange. |

Very good hotel. Clean spacious room. Close to MTR, yet on a quite
street. Very convenient location. Will stay there again. |

Nice room and close to skytrain. This is a nice budget hotel in a
good location. The staff are friendly and helpful and i would stay
here again. Soi cowboy is only 300 meters away if you are here for
the girls but easy to avoid. |

Slightly dated, but customer service was excellent. Hotel room walls
are a bit thin, elevators slow, the buffet breakfast requires improvement,
and the location hard to find. The room was clean, with impecible
maid service, but the room did seem overpriced, considering the size
of the room and the hotels facilities. In short, 7 out of 10, due
to the excellent customer service. P.S.This would not be the hotel
to go to should you wish to use a pool or gym-located below a building
sight, it offers the customer little privacy. Also, pool and gym are
poorly laid out and presented. |

Overall very good efficient hotel we thought it was good value. The
restaurant is fine, a good choice at breakfast. The staff friendly
and helpful. The room was good, everything that we would expect, clean
and well maintained. Our only critisism was that the pool is currently
overlooked by a construction site, but that didn t spoil our enjoyment
of it. I would stay at this hotel again. |

Some stated that this hotel has this problem and that. I, myself,
have had a great experience. Everything was sparkling clean, the staff
super-friendly and helpful, and their English was fine. Yes, the breakfast
might have been more on the warm side rather than piping hot. It s
buffet style, so what do you expect, really. Breakfast area open from
6 to 10 am, which is very decent in my opinion. Fruit, eggs and cereal
and so much more. Plenty is the word! The room was super quiet; the
walls NOT paper thin as in some shoddy places. I slept like a rock,
the A/C was not all that noisy. I did specify in my reservation that
I wanted a room away from construction and noisy crowds. The hotel
has it all, perfectly located 5 minute walk from the sky train. Nothing
luxurious, but quite respectful. Go! |

This was my first visit to the Tai-Pan and it s a good hotel. It s
location is good and the staff is friendly and helpfull, the price
for value is ok. I only was disappointed about the wired high-speed
internet connection, it was quite expensive and slow-speed, sometimes
unusable when to much users are online. I did a reclamation email
to the provider, but no answer was provided. I will return to the
hotel if I m in Bangkok. |

Tai-Pan is a great hotel, the staff was friendly and the room was
clean and spacious. Only a short walk to both the Sky Train and Subway.
I would recomend it. |
