This is a nice hotel located outside of the city. The staff is very
friendly and accommodating, but their English is limited if that is
a problem for you. The rooms are smaller than they look in the pictures,
but nicely decorated and homey feeling. The bed, however, was harder
than rock and we slept poorly. Although the hotel was good, we do
not recommend staying here, mostly due to location. Not a single taxi
driver or tuk-tuk driver (out of about the 15 we asked) knew how to
find the place, even with the map provided on their business card.
The hotel has a very nice car service for 100 baht each way, which
isn t bad, but you re left waiting on them more than is necessary. |

In many along with the sight-seeing ways this was the high point of
our stay in Thailand. After staying in scores of business hotels the
world over I did specifically not want another plastic experience. If
you want to be close to nature, this is the hotel for you! I really
loved the Lanna-style hospitality. Every meal was an memorable experience.
The Hotel is conveniently located in Chiang Mai town but not exactly
in the thick of things the lovely Ping River is not far away. Watch
out for the bathrooms they are a lovely surprise! The pool is great
too but the Hotel staff were the most wonderful feature of all. The
service was heartfelt & our every wish was anticipated. I have stayed
at very few places that have delighted me & family as much - definitely
hope to go back some day. |

The best thing about the hotel was the really sincere service! I ve
been to a lot of hotels in Thailand and the service here is straight
from the heart. The atmosphere of the old Thai houses was really something
special and I especially liked the bathrooms - open air style. |
