The
Chedi Chiang Mai, Muang
The Chedi is PERFECT. It offers a good change from the likes of traditional
architecture style of resorts like Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental.
Chedi is located in the city centre and it is very convenient to visit
all the tourists sights. The service and the attention to details
at the Chedi are AMAZING...second to none. The Spa Massage@ the Chedi
is the best we have had...it was much better than the massage we had
at the Four Seasons. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. |

The Chedi Chiang Mai, Muang
The pictures that website uses do not do the Chedi justice, this hotel
was amazing! The service was fantastic and the staff were the most
friendly I have ever had. This hotel did not leave out any details
and everything ran perfectly. They arranged a few tours for us which
were both fantastic and comfortable, this allowed us to see the best
parts of Chiang Mai without the all of the catches or stops that the
local services make you do. The hotels facilities were also great.
I will be going back to Chiang Mai just to stay at the Chedi |

The Chedi Chiang Mai, Muang
We stayed at The Chedi,in a Club Room, for 3 nights and it was undoubtedly
one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Well worth paying
the extra for a Club Room as the added facilities and room features
make it very attractive. The room has both internal and external daybeds,
a very comfortable bed for sleeping, flat screen TV with Bose CD/DVD
player, free mini-bar, bottles of wine and spirits. free laundry and
excellent Club lounge facilities with good breakfasts and free evening
cocktails and canapes. The restaurant, overall decor and location
are superb. It s within walking distance of the Night Bzaar -if you
like buying T-shirts and rubbish souvenirs- and not far from the Walking
Street which is more interesting and local . Visit the lovely temple
Wat Phra Do Sutep on the hills overlooking the city-fantastic ! The
trip to the Hill Tribes was disappointing however and very over-priced.
Chiang Mai is a nice city although not that startling and somewhat
congested. Visit the furniture shops for some great quality items,
especially the Teak furniture- beware the tourist traps however. When
we were there the weather was gorgeous, sunny and low humidity and
cooler at night. We would recommend The Chedi very strongly. |

Chedi Chiang Mai, Muang
We picked the best hotel in Chiang Mai, bar none! The hotel was beautiful!
The grounds were well manicured and tastefully done. The rooms are
unique in design and the bed was cozy (most Asian hotels have very
hard beds). The shower was the best we have ever had.Breakfest had
a good variety. The staff was very helpful. The best part was the location.
Close to the Night Market and the Day market (don t miss that area,
Great Prices! |

Chedi Chiang Mai, Muang
Beautiful facilities, beautiful room, friendly and accomodating staff.
One of the best hotels we stayed in all of Thailand. The pics on thier
website doesnt do justice. It looks like a set of a photo shoot. No
complain. Great location. Maybe a jacuzzi would be useful since it
can be chilly on high season. Go to elephantnaturefoundation.org fo
a rewarding lifetime experience with elephants as oppose to trekking. |

Chedi Chiang Mai, Muang
Wonderful Hotel! Excellent 5* service from the staff. Very nice ambience
and pool. A pity is most of the rooms have no view and faces a garden
only although the website says rooms have a view of mae ping river.
It is at the pool that u can have a nice view of the river. Request
for high floor room was also not fufilled. Otherwise, would certainly
return to it. Highly recommended. |
