Magnus Modig  2007-06-09 until 2007-06-12	Green Lake Resort, Chang Puek Very nice hotel in calm area outside of Chiang Mai city center. Pools really good even though pool area not very inviting. Very good with fresh water shower at pool area. Requires 10-15 minutes Taxi or TukTuk transportation to town center. Very good breakfast buffet. Rooms very clean and nice.
Hanne Jensen  2007-02-15 until 2007-02-17	Green Lake Resort, Chang Puek Very boring place. Located 20 min outside Chiang Mai. Just beside the mainroad of Chiang Mai. So the lake is not so pretty after all. OK pool. Staff friendly. Absoulutely nothing to do here in this area. OK if you just want a place to sleep.
Fred and Ethel  2006-12-06 until 2006-12-08	Green Lake Resort, Chang Puek Very new hotel. Not a five star hotel, but the rooms were clean and spacious with nice decorations. Shower, AC, and TV worked perfectly. Beautiful open-air lobby. Staff were nice, especially at the restaurant. Buffet was fine, but not great. Free wireless internet access in the lobby. Hotel is about 10 minutes out of downtown. Taxi ride is 120 baht into town. Overall, the hotel was excellent, especially considering the price (about 2000 baht/night).
Gkhoo  2006-10-31 until 2006-11-03	Green Lake Resort, Chang Puek New hotel with beautiful scenary. The rooms are next to the lake and in the morning, the air is cool and fresh. Swimming pool is quite small but clean. Hotel food is only average; hotel staff are helpful but speak little English so communication is a problem. The resort is about 20 min from the city. It costs about 150 bht per trip. Overall, it is a nice place to rest and relax; I will defintely consider going back again.
C. A. SZYMANSKI  2006-10-16 until 2006-10-20	Green Lake Resort, Chang Puek Nice hotel,rooms clean and comfortable, though I did have some problems with tiny ants. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially when we wanted to extend our stay by one day. only down side is its a little out of town so be prepared to get taxis or tuktuks there and back. Also a bit of aircraft noise as it is on the airport flightpath.
