Always a success, we stay there every year ( 5 years now in a row)
in the doi suthep wing and for tbt 1.550 you never get any more space
, service and breakfast and.............swimmingpool in Chiang Mai.
Thanks staff. Only one minor point. Please please let the band play
- in the evening - a litle bou bou noi !! |

Terrible hotel!, Seems like you are isolated in a big giant cave.
I reserved a deluxe room and the hotel gave me an upgrade to the junior
suite, which was nothing but a huge hut with very dim lights. Hotel
itself is very run down and old. Need renovation all over the place.
Breakfast was awful. Front desk receptionist was so bad and unfriendly.
It seems as though they resent working there!. The hotel taxi driver
(the one who drives beat-up Toyota van with the hotel logo) rip us
off with very fat commission when he took us to a bar, which was partially
confirmed by the doormans. Only bright side was the bell boys who
are very willing to help with luggages and suggestions! nice guys!
Location is very isolated and hard to get the taxi in front of the
hotel and you have to rely on this shabby hotel taxi driver |

The hotel was a little futher then I thought from any major things
to do, but the room was clean the people were nice.My son loved the
pool. The breakfasts were very good. Plus you are attached to a cool
mall.. I recommend the hotel to families. |

Beautiful hotel - although english breakfast limited and not food
not regurlarly replenished. Well located for access to the old city
and the to escape into the outlying areas. Many facilities available
from attached shopping complex. Nightmarket taxi ride away. looking
forward to my return. |

I have not a good memory of my stay at your hotel. I was treated rudely
and charged many extra dollars because of miss direction from your
staff regarding phone calls. I do plan to return to Chiang Mai in
January 2006 but unless some adjustment is willing to be made I will
not stay at your hotel. Many of the staff were very pleasent but the
manager of the area I resided was not at all pleasent and did nothing
to resolve my problem. As stated above the miss information I was
given resulted in four hundred dollars (US) in phone calls. The manager
of the other area did make a small adjustment but the ending amount
was over three hundred dollars (US). Hhopefully something will be
done by you to resolve this matter. Jim Eustace |

Nice big rooms. We are a family (2 adults, 2 childern) and had 2 connecting
rooms. This was very good - like one big apartment. Friendly staff
and clean rooms. The hotel is an very big elderly luxus hotel, that
now is a little worn. The western breakfast food was uninspiring.
There is a huge swimmingpool. If you have fear of hights or have small
childern tumbling around, then try get a room on the lower floors.
It is located in a big shopping center where you can buy everything;
clothes, food... (internet connection 20 bath/hour - at the hotel
50 bath/10 minutes). If you want sandwiches go opposite the road in
front of the center and a little to the left; amazing sandwiches .
The location in Chiang Mai is not near the night marked or other shopping
areas, but you can take a taxi for appox. 50 bath. |

A little far from downtown but not really inconvenient. (Chiang Mai
is very manageable.) Attached is a huge shopping centre with everything
one could need. A typical cavernous Chinese built hotel - very helpful
staff, left luggage, etc (we went on a trek for two days and left
our luggage with the hotel. Very good value for money. No pool but
hotel was renovating exercise rooms with great sauna and steam room
while we were there. |
