Since none of the Royal suites has got a bath tube (?!)But only showers,
we stayed one night on the Presidential Suite. Paying over 12000 per
night should leave a good impression isn t? Well it didn t! The bathroom
cleaning status is far from being good. The facilities are old, not
enough light in any of the 3 rooms suite and the air con is far from
making you breathe well and the presence of 2 dozens of mosquitoes
made it even harder. However the stuff is very polite, gentle and
willing to serve. Stay away from the lobby and the manager s promises...... |

Pleasant stay and an efficient service provided. The rooms are comfortable,
functional and immaculate. Location is excellent for accessing the
night bizarre market area and easy walking distance to the centre
of town |

Nice hotel, however, not so friendly, you do not really feel at home
as compared to the Empress hotel which I would recommend in stead,
its a bit further out from the market, but who cares ?? |

Cannot fault this hotel. It is large, the rooms are very comfortable
and the staff are very friendly. Large choice of eating places, Bar
inside and out, and just round the corner from the Nightmarket. Only
stayed one night as going to BKK but found it to be very pleasant. |

Lovely modern hotel close to the night market and in a good part of
town. The rooms were fine and the bfast was top notch. The pool area
was very good although there is so much to see that you are not likely
to spend much time using it. We would stay there again. |

Second stay there. I like the location. I ve always stayed in a royal
suite on the 15th floor. I recommend it and I started going there
on the recommendation of a frequent traveler to Chiang Mai |

Had to wait until 2:00 pm for check-in. Bathroom less than stellar
in terms of size and cleanliness. Staff attitude was good. Hotel location
near night market and plenty of food near by. However, having had
a better overall experience in many other Thailand hotels at similar
price range, I ll probably pick another hotel in Chiang Mai next time. |

The hotel location is great, and the facilities adequate; but the
service was lacking. Disorganisation was very evident during breakfasts
(we were led around like sheep in the search for a table), and one
had to hunt down coffee or tea, waiters either lacking or disinterested.
Additionally the selection was limited for a hotel of its class. Compared
to other establishments in Thailand, this one rates low, especially
price/quality ratio. |
