The Park Hotel, Chang Klan
The Hotel is a little old, and the first room we got smelled really
bad. They moved us to another floor which was better but still not
100%. The Hotel services are relatively expensive and you need a Tuktuk
or taxi to go to the Night Market. (it s NOT a walking distance!)
The hotel has a shuttle every half hour, but you have to book in advance.
The breakfast buffet is very good. Bottom line the Hotel is OK if
you get a really good price for it, otherwise go to a Hotel near the
Night Bazaar. Anyway, there s a great massage place right beside the
Hotel, and a very nice restaurant with live, authentic Thai music
right in front, no tourists, just local people, we loved it! |

Nice looking hotel....booked a deluxe room, which was adequate. Staff
was friendly, breakfast was average. Asked for an iron, but they had
none. All in all, the hotel is only about a 3*+ in my eyes, but I
would stay there again for the price ($40 U.S.), and location (5 minute
tuk-tuk to night market) |

It is a fairly nice looking hotel and has very friendly staff. However,
we were not given a double room, which we requested for. The check-in
staff when asked if we were getting a double bed, said yes but when
we got to our room, there were 2 single beds. Moreover, the room definitely
did not look like a deluxe room which we paid extra for. However,
they made it up by changing our room the next day, to a double room.
Distance wise, it is not exactly near the night bazaar. Walking will
take about 15 - 20 minutes. |

Hotel was nice and provides all the ususal services that you would
expect from one. I found the safe deposit boxes rather small compared
to other hotels that I have stayed in. They are only adequate for
small items and as I was carrying alot of camera equipment it sometimes
proved difficult to store things |

A very nice hotel with friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms
and a lovely rooftop pool area. The room service was excellent. |
