Sofitel Central Hua Hin Resort, Hua Hin
Hotel it self was first class, the bungalows were very nice, very
bright and were always kept very clean and tidy.All the hotel restaurants
were good even if the buffet breakfasts were a little repetetive.
My only complaint was that the beach right outside the hotel was dirty
and full of vendors selling food and drink in fact for about 200metres
you couldnt see the sand for these.It wasnt quite as it was descriped
on the website and there were also quite a few horses on this streach
and the smell of horse manure was quite off putting. Also we went
during flood season mid Oct to mid Nov, we knew that it rained in
October was wasnt prepared for a metre of rain water on the roads
some 300 metres from the hotel. It actually rained for 5 days solid
and got so bad we cut short our stay in Hua Hin by 4 days where we
ended up in Bangkok.It rained there as well! All in all i would recommend
the Central Hua Hin Village to anybody wanting a peaceful holiday
relaxing by the pool. |

Central Hua Hin Resort, Hua Hin
Nice rooms (I stayed in the hotel section), friendly staff and good
location. Aircon was freezing cold and not able to be adjusted (other
than by turning off). Beach and surroundings are quiet. Breakfast
(as is often the case in Thai hotels) was pretty bad! Would go back. |
