Bankrut Beach Resort, Bangsapan, Prachuabkhirikhan
Although this hotel was in a gorgeous setting, the individual units
that housed the rooms should be leveled with a bulldozer and rebuilt
! Toilets did not operate, roofs leaked during a heavy rain and soaked
the bed, the floor boards were so weak that I was afraid my foot would
go through the floor. To add to the mess, the mattresses on the beds
were so hard it was like sleeping on a stone floor. It was probably
one of the worse hotels I ve ever stayed at. |

I requested Non-smoking and beach view. I got beach view and could
not feel any smoke in the room - or bungalow. I booked Bungalow A,
1 bedroom at 1300 THB. At first the bungalow looked a bit small and
dark but is was nice and clean and the staff helpful. The only drawback
was the stone hard twin beds (no double bed) and the weak shower.
Very low pressure, however it never stopped. Buffet breakfast is included
in the price, but at this hotel the buffet was clearly only Thai buffet
and nothing that I could eat. I had to stick with Tea, Toast and Jam.
MC rental was 350 THB per day. The best asset of this hotel is the
) 10 km long deserted beach, 5 m across the beach road. Arriving from
the dreadful, crowded Phuket, Ban Krut beach was heaven, big waves
and no crowds. I think the 1300 THB is very good value for money and
would definitely go back to Suan Bankrut Beach Resort. |

Nice quiet hotell by the beach of Bankrut. 25 km away from Bang Sapdan
where we thought it was, but the hotell arranged a taxi for us. Friendly
helpful staff, Bungalow and surroundings nice but the beds are very
hard. For a quiet vacation its very good. |

The location of the resort is really wonderful - great beach, few
tourists (mainly thai) and quite near to Baan Krut, where you can
find some restaurants. The bungalows and the resort are o.k. - but
in peak season too expensive. If you don?t speak thai language even
simple communication with the staff might be difficult: On questions
like When (and where) does the bus to Chumphon leave? we didn?t recieve
any answer ..... ! |

We loved this place. The villa rooms were wonderful, with a large,
beautiful shower. It is not unusual in Thailand for the showers not
to have a curtain, allowing the rest of the bathroom to get wet. But
this one did. The rooms were very clean, the service excellent, the
beach fabulous. There weren t more than a half dozen people on the
beach at any time. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone,
and would definitely go back there. |

Bankrut is the perfect place to relax and find silence. The resort
is clean and people are very friendly. Compared to other resorts with
same standard it is too expensive - especially if you compare with
real tourist places! People in the hotel hardly speak English, but
are willing to do their best. There are mainly Thai families as tourists
in Bankrut and the few restaurants close at 21:30 hrs. Attention:
There is no chance within 30 km distance for money exchange! Lovely
beach, which you have for your own until late afternoon the Thais
enter the beach. And even then it is really funny to watch them and
get in contact! Really nice place, if you do not like the typical
tourist places! |
