River Kwai Resort and Spa
A delightful place to stay. Well maintained grounds in a great setting.
Rooms spacial and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant fare
excellent. Well located for Kachanaburi, Hellfire Pass and Three Pagoda
Pass. No western TV channels which is the only negative.

The hotel is far away (7KM) from downtown & major travelling places
but the condition is quiet peaceful & comfortable to stay. Even the
room facility is somehow old, it s nice & enjoyable hotel to live well.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings with the river kvai
bridge within sight distance. Nice pool, rooms and facilities. It?s a good
idea a rent a motorbike to be able to get access to the town. Free wireless
internet in the lobby. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Hin Tok River Camp @ Hell Fire Pass
Peaceful surrounds that brings you close to nature but pulls you back a
bit with the A/C unit in each tent. The nature pool is wonderful with cold
river water. The loud cicadas give a jungle feeling to it all and yet the
birds in the morning makes every morning so sweet.

Kasalong River Kwai Resort
A peaceful hotel in the middle of forest. Relaxing atmosphere. Everything
is good except the open-air bathroom. It s not bad but just a strange design
to locate next to the hallway. Very hospitality, Nice employees and service.
Very good looking swimming pool, will try if I go back next time.

Legacy River Kwai Resort
The grounds of this resort are very beautiful. The bungalows are large &
very quiet allowing the sounds of the sourrounding jungle to be heard which
was great. However, they are a little tired & the beds are very soft.
Breakfast was poor. This resort is a good 30-35 minutes drive from town
by car which costs 400 bt each way. This needs to be considered when booking
as it makes eating out more expensive. Staying in the resort in the evening
is only for people who like to listen to resident band (not so good!) &
noisy people. Whilst situated on the river bank, there is no quiet area.
It also advertises a floating restaurant but it was not in operation when
we were there. Tours are also a problem - the tour companies charge high
prices to collect from here. The pool is small but nice. We only used it
for a short while but our peace was shattered when a large & noisy tour
group arrived. To sum up, beautiful resort in gorgeous location but I would
not return.

Rim Kwai Resort
the strong point of the hotel: 1) very good mountain view from our room,
especially at sunset; 2) very good river view from canteen; 3) very big,
quiet, beautiful and well-designed compound; 4) spacious room, lobby...
the weak point of the hotel: not as intimate as we expected; more suitable
for conference etc, instead of individual trip;

I DO NOT recommend this establishment to anyone!!! The staff were unfriendly,
unhelpful and down right rude. Not one person spoke any english other than
hello . All brouchures and travel books were in Thai! The room was dirty
and uncomfortable. In general our stay was most unpleasant and proceded
to check after one night despite already paying for a 2 night stay and checking
into the lovely Felix River Kwai Hotel!!!

Kwai Noi Resort
After a short weekend stay in Pung-Waan Kwai Noi Resort, I and my family
want to go again. The booking services were very helpful and fast. This
is one hotel which IS what you see on the internet , is what you GET. No
nasty surprises. We enjoyed the stay and the friend who was visiting from
the US is going to recommend the hotel to his friends. The hotel is good
and clean , vast and next to the river and with lots of fun activities one
can do alone or with family. The staff are excellent and very helpful and
courteous. There is live music which all the guests enjoyed. Overall good
value for money.

If you go to kanchanaburi for one nigth or two it might work here.We stay
for 5 nights really nothing to do with worker don t really care about us.
Reception girl are nice but resturant people need more training to do.We
order room service once and never get the food cause the guy forgot our
room number the maneger call to say sorry but from the sound when talking
to him I don t think he really care.House keeping cleaning the room very
very lound and they forgot to clean our room even know we staying at one
of expensive room in that hotel. It a big hotel and have a lot of tour group
stying so guess they don t care much about how guest think.Over all is a
ok hotel but I will never go back there again.I will give many other small
hotel around Kanchanaburi a chance than this big hotel and bad at service.

River
Kwai Botanic Garden
We stayed at the River Kwai Botanic Garden Hotel for 2 nights. Location
very nice, special to sleep in a house on the river. Room very basic, however
with airconditioning so that s wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful.
It s far from the city Kanchanaburi, in the middle of the jungle. The room
was not very clean, lot of dust. Altogether, we enjoyed our stay and it
was very special. Good value for money. The food at the restaurant was nice.

A peaceful retreat much cleanier and more beautiful Bankok. In the middle
of no where very nice for a 1-2 night stay after Bankok. No AC or hot water
but we didn t even notice there is so much fun stuff to do. It is in a BEAUTIFUL
location. You arrive on longtail boat so pack light you don t need much
at all. I would for sure stay here again.

River Kwai Village Hotel
Hotel staff friendly, decent breakfast for Thailand. However, I would not
recommend this hotel for anyone who wishes to sleep in. They use a very
very loud phone to have housekeeping check the rooms for anything taken
out of the minibar upon check out. The phone in my hall (that happned to
be right next to my room) started to ring at 7 am. Finally after a couple
hours, I got up and took the phone out of the wall and brought it into my
room. ahh back to sleep
