We spent 10 days at Sea view. We had been promised two delux rooms
at the top floor of the main building via e-mail before arrival but
where given two rooms on the lower bottom floor (blocked view and
a bit worn out). After two days we could change to rooms on the 2nd
floor with a door between the rooms (nice for families). These rooms
where great! Beautiful resort, lovely garden, great beach and pool.
No disturbance of traffic or other noice. Restaurant OK but nothing
to write home about. Much nicer, excellent food and very good value
at the nearby Porno bungalows restaurant right on the beach. Bring
a flash light and walk on the beach, very near. Sea view would feel
even better if they included things like free shuttle mini bus to
Kai Bae and Klong Prao and if they skipped the daily paper work for
things like checking out for (and returning)a beach towel, breakfast
cupongs etc. |

Excellent hotel with good location if your main purpose is sun and
bath. Walking distance to Kai Bai Village, where several excellent
restaurants are located, is a 15-20 minutes walk on the beach. We
changed rooms from Superior to Deluxe and found them well worth the
money. Breakfast is excellent and the reception staff is good at english.
My only complaint is that all guests booked sunbeds early in the morning
and then rarely used them - however this is not the hotels fault more
a western behaviour problem accordning to me. |

Sea View was okay, although staff seemed to hide behind language barriers
from time to time. Nice beach, quiet area, not with village next door
as on White Sand Beach. Good restaurant, go for Thai food, because
western food is coocked by the same staff, and they make Thai food
first, and then start on the other stuff. We had to wait more than
one hour on a hamburger, so keep an eye on progress and remind your
waiter on what is left. Went 2 days on boat trips - take a fast boat,
gives you more time in water instead of 4 hrs on a boat in the waves.
Bang Bao village with a couple of good seafood restaurants. Local
taxis OK. |

A lovely hotel. Staff very friendly, and nice and clean rooms. We
lived in deluxe room in the building, two adults and two child aged
five and two. A very nice place for the children. We would very much
like to stay here again. Highly recommended. |

It is a very nice hotel with a great location. we had a luxury room
with a fantastic view over the ocean, and I can only recommend the
hotel for other customers. If you expect a lot of restaurants really
close this is not the hotel but if you drive for 1km there is a huge
selection plus the two neighbor hotels which are very different from
sea view. We would be happy to go back again. |

Felt slightly trapped in this hotel, walks along the beach were blocked
off at high tide and hotel amenaties at night were depressing. Get
cab out to local town to avoid being institutionalized. Stayed in
nice deluxe room in new building, but all a bit soulless and overpriced
considering how old fashioned the rest of the hotel is. The place
was about 70% full of middle aged Russians when we stayed so might
have given more of a feeling of tsarist oppression. Nice well kept
tropical gardens though. |

We had a deluxe room from third floor and it was really nice. Room
decoration was classic. Best beach view on the island. At night hard
to walk on the road because it was dark and no lights. |

we were disappointed by the superior room bungalows, we had the view
of the parking and noise from 7:30 in the morning, the cheapest standard
room, had a view of the sea that is not very normal, we would have
the take that standard room better position |

We stayed at Seaview for 7 nights in a Deluxe room. This building
was built recently and held a high standard - very nice rooms! We
were placed on the first floor though and the beautiful promised seaview
was completely hidden by palm trees so after having complained we
were moved up to third floor were the view was fantastic! The location
of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance on the beach to the small
town were there are several wonderful cheap restaurants with tasty
food. We would also highly recommend to go to Porn Bungalows next
door for lunch or dinner or just a drink. The beach at Seaview is
excellent - especially for families with children. The pool was nice
BUT the ceramics on the bottom was broken on several spots and our
daughter got a deep cut in her toe - we had to go to hospital and
she could not be in water for three days which ruined parts of our
holiday. The only big draw back for this hotel is the service - it
is VERY poor! |
