Coral Bungalows, Haad Rin
The location of the hotel and it s restaurant + pool was just perfect,
next to the sea. You had a beautiful view as you were sitting in the
restaurant or chilling by the pool. The room was ok, unfortunately
the aircondition was just above the bed and somehow it seemed very
hard to get the temperature right as you either were freezing or felt
to warm in the night. A big minus is that there were a big construction
site next to the room and they started working at 6 o clock in the
morning. The main problem with Coral bungalows however is the staff.
They didn t clean my room once during our stay in the hotel, even
though I told them twice I wanted it cleaned. At least I got new towels
once when I asked for it. That is really bad in my opinion. Another
bad thing is the service you got from them when you were sitting in
the restaurant. I don t know how many times we got the wrong order
to our table or didn t get what we ordered at all or at least they
partially missed something from the order. That was really annoying.
Especially when you asked for your orange juice that was missing in
the breakfast order after having finished the rest of your breakfast
and you just get the answer: - You ordered orange juice? - Yes!. Then
the guy just ignores the situation and starts talking to somebody
else. He didn t get me my orange juice. I had to ask somebody else
and after another 10 minutes I got it. That is like one hour after
the first order... My girlfriend also got somebody elses dish once
when we had dinner there. Etc. etc.... That was just a few examples
of what you can expect from the service. |

nice palces, the bungalows very nices, the swimming pool too, just
the beach it s not so good and the services to slow and a little expensive
than other palces, like massages and food. good for a few days, not
more |

We had a fantastic time at Coral Bungalows. The staff were SO friendly
and made us, and everyone else there, feel very comfortable. They
were real jokers too, which was refreshing. Coral bungalows goes out
of its way to organise events to get people staying to interact and
get to know eachother too which makes a great atmosphere. Many people
hanging out in the bar at night were staying at other bungalows on
the beach but were still welcome in the resort, which proved it was
the place to be. Good food and drink choices too. Was definatly the
best place we stayed in Thailand, the staff really made it. Within
walking distance of the full moon party which is a huge bonus. New
pool and swim up bar was great too! Maybe don t use the laundry service
though. Many of our whites came back with odd yellow stains on them.

Coral was wicked!!!! I will most definitley be staying there again
when I go back to the Island. The staff were sooo friendly and willing
to help you with anything. The place was very lively and had a great
atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here. |

Amazing. This was the best resort i stayed at out of 6. The staff
are great. The pool is great, the food, the resort itself, everything
we had a good experience with. But this is a resort for younger travellers
for sure. And they all stay up late. So if you are looking for an
early nights sleep i wouldn t recomend this one. If this sounds like
what you want it is the ideal spot. |

Would recommend if you are young and looking for great crowd to party
with. The staff are greatest I ve come across my stay in Thailand.
Newly build swimming pool is another huge plus, great restaurant and
the atmosphere. Great place to stay during full moon. The rooms are
extremely clean too. |

Our room really dirty when we arrived and five days later when we
left it was still not cleaned. The last guests sheets was still in
the beds and we had to ask for clean sheets four times before we got
any. Our experience of Coral Bungalows was really not good and we
could not recommend anyone to stay there. The price was way to high
compared with the standard of our room and the servicelevel of the
staff. |

Unfortunately I can not recommend this hotel. The staff are very nice,
the guests, however, are the worst of the worst that visit Koh Phan.
Young and indolent, they may as well have stayed at home because all
they do is sit around and watch television. I suspect that most of
them are only vaguely aware that they are in Thailand. Another drawback
to the hotel is that there are 2 major construction projects taking
place a few meters away from the bungalows, work begins at 8AM. If
you enjoy the company of filthy, clueless backpackers, then this is
the place for you. |

Great location and absolutely fantastic service!The staff were all
