I a very nice place, the beach at Ao nang is a walk about 20 mins
but they do have a shuttle that takes you to another beach where there
beach bar is |

The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was very good. The
room (superiour room) that we stayed in was very nice, but maybe a
little bit dark. We definitely enjoyed our stay and we would definitely
stay there again. |

An average standard hotel. When searching Sawadee, I was looking for
a hotel that could accomodate 5 people in one room or cottage. Emerald
offered quint rooms as standard. However, the actual accomodation
was a two floor cottage with two extra beds, leaving almost no floor
space. The first five days we had no hot shower water, we had rats
on the attic keeping us awake during the nights and there was construction
work going on until 1100 pm almost every night. When asking for compensation
up on check out they offered THB 525... I would not revisit Emerald
