A nice hotel, big swimming pool and grounds but not near a beach and not that great in Krabi Town. The service wasn´t very good either, they weren´t that friendly and they took ages in the restaurant to bring the food. To top it all off they had a wedding of 5000 ppl (dont ask me who was getting married)which spread across the whole hotel. We decided to leave to go to the Phi Phi islands, thank god we did as others told me it was a awful. Probably the worst hotel of our month travelling and most expensive! |

Some sort of construction work made a terrible noise all day - not appreciated of you re trying to relax or, as we did, trying to get a small baby to sleep. The hotel was ok, but not quite worth the price. |

wounderfull hotel, the room was very clean and spacious, we stayed in the superior!! the staf was very friendly and helped us find places to visit. it s a little distaned from Ao nang beach but there s a shuttle in the morning and it brings you back about 4pm, ask for the service card so you can ride the shuttle free.. |

A good hotel situated ca. 10. min. from Krabi City.
From the balcon you have a beautiful view on the pool and the park and the lake. The room (de luxe) is clean and comfortable.
The breakfast is OK.
The staff was not good for service. It was not possible to get local informations about the city and transfer to the city. |

Our stay was exretremly pleasant at the Maritime Park & Spa Resort. The facility is clean and well kept. Our room was had a beautiful view overlooking the hotel grounds and Krabi Town. Last but definately not least the people operating this resort were exceedingly pleasant. |

The hotel has beautiful views. The equipment seems of 70´s, although my room was big and clean. Perhaps the breakfast was a little lower to other hotels that I knew in Thailand.

We decided to book based on very favourable reviews on Sawadee and photos that showed modern facilities - how wrong that proved to be. The setting of the hotel is fine, but it is very run down & in need of refurbishment. The poolside area is shabby & the pool bar out of action. The guest rooms themselves are disgraceful, painted in a vile shade of green (and pink, in some cases), with cheap wicker furniture and no cushions. The white telephone in our first room had literally turned yellow with age.
My wife and I had specifically requested a double bed, only to find that our room had two singles pushed together. When we complained about this we were given another room with a double bed - but of a lower category than the one for which we had paid. We eventually were given a better room than this after complaining to the manager, but this room was still well below the standards that we have come to expect of resorts in Thailand at this price.
The food and service in the restaurant were both very poor, though the breakfasts were OK and the cocktails passable.
The spa is quite nice and there s an excellent Southern Thai restaurant about 10 mins walk from the hotel. These few plus points saved the holiday from being a total disaster, but frankly I can t recommend this resort to anyone. My advice to the management is to lower your prices or raise your standards.
