Pakasai Resort - Hotel Reviews
Resort was fantastic location on the hill-side, and great location near Ao Nang beach. Incredibly clean and comfortable. by Nathaniel Albanese, 2009-05-21 |
In 1 word: fantastic! It was our honeymoon and when we arrived, they give us a warm welcom with flowers and a cocktail. The room was very big and and from the balcony we could see the ocean and the mountains. The staff was very friendly, every morning a la carte breakfast. The room has his own dvd and at the reception free movies. From the edge of the swimmingpool or your balcony you could see the most fantastic sunset. the only disadvantage, the resort is build up to the mountains, so we had to walk 100 steps to our room. but it was definitely worth it! Tip: go with a local thai on a trip and visit the tigertemple (up to 1237 steps to the top) and go snorkeling at phi phi island. by J. van Slooten, 2009-05-21 |
Staff was excellent. Very professional. Upgraded our room to adora one. Can t fault the service. Marvellous pool. We were there at a bad weather, nevertheless, staff made us so welcome. A little expensive. Could get better hotels for the same price. Did aggree with one writer, too many mosquitoes at this time of the year. by Agnes M Wong, 2008-10-01 |
If you enjoy small dark rooms without a view, where the curtains must remain closed due to the close proximity of everyone outside your room, if you like mosquitoes, or if you have been living on the streets for a few years you might enjoy staying at this hotel, otherwise you should give it a miss. by Bruce Eaton, 2008-02-08 until 2008-02-09 |
This is the 4th or 5th time I have stayed at the Pakasai, and as usual it was excellent. The rooms are large with wide balconies, and it has a great pool. The staff are helpful and the hotel is in a good location. I will definitely stay again next time I am in Krabi, which is far more than I can say for the Cliff Au Nang where I had to stay for one night because the Pakasai was full. The Cliff was more expensive, the rooms are tiny. There is no view, it is mosquito infested, and the website claims of it being one of Thailands top 50 resorts cannot be believed, unless there were only 50 resorts in Thailand when the survey was undertaken. I will never stay there again. I would rather sleep under a tree. by Bruce Eaton, 2008-02-01 until 2008-02-02 |
Good location. The room was recently renovated and a good size as was the verandah with tropical outlook. Beautiful pool area. Would recommend. by Fiona & David, 2007-09-27 until 2007-10-01 |

Lovely resort. Great garden and surroundings. Convenient location. Free Internet near reception. Good breakfasts. Good pool. Comfortable room. Many steps to room. Bad laundry, they damage clothes. Would stay again because I don t mind steps but will have to avoid the laundry. by Brian Weymouth, 2007-03-24 until 2007-03-30 |
Excellent, excellent, excellent. We were so happy staying at Pakasai and we will most likely return! The front desk staff works wonders, and not once were we disappointed. Our two rooms were truly amazing, and with some 144 steps to climb before reaching our rooms, we also got our exercise! Amazing garden, fantastic rooms and that ever so friendly Thai mentality. We highly recommend this resort. by Christina Nybye, 2006-12-15 until 2006-12-20 |
