Langham
Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Warin, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach
The Langham is a very beautiful resort with extensive manicured grounds
and several fabulous pools. It is a very large resort however and
this can make you lose touch with where you are. Food and drink was
much more expensive than any of the other resorts we had stayed at
during our time in Thailand but it was easy enough to eat elsewhere.
For such a large resort it did lack a number of services that I would
have expected to be complementary such as a courtesy bus or free internet.
The breakfasts however were fantastic and overall for the price we
paid (aprox 130 AUD) it was exceptional value. If you plan to spoil
yourself in opulent surrounds with plenty of R&R then this is the
place for you but if you want to get a true feel for what Koh Lanta
has to offer then I would probably recommend somewhere a little closer
to Ban Sala Dan. |

The room of this resort @ Kho Lanta, Krabi is reasonably price. We
stayed there for 5 nights and still enjoyed it s breakfast. Our special
request for non-pork food was met. A bit of warning though on the
hotel dinner buffer -- it was highly overpriced & they even charged
you extra for a glass of water!!! The hotel beach is rocky, so you
can t swim in the sea, but the swimming pool is quite nice. All in
all it s worthwhile being there, considering the long 3 hours trip
from Krabi airport to the hotel. |

A STUNNING RESORT. Very well kept anda comfortable llagoon facing
room. Staff very freindly and helpfull. The resturant did not live
up to the same standard as the resort, limited menu. Please leave yourself
plenty of time if you are Flying out of Krabie as there are two car
Ferries that you have to get across to get to Krabie and these are
very slow with a build up of traffic at peak times, and at low tide
we got stuck. Koh Lanta needs a road bridge to make acess easier,
however still a wonderful place and a great resort!!!!! |

Hotel exceeded our expectations; great place to relax; excellent service;
adjacent bakery serves great lunch; rooms spacious with very comfortable
beds; shower pressure could be better. the sea-pool, separate music
room and mini theater are unique features which we certainly did not
expect. We will be back. |

This resort has nothing to do with a 5 star resort. In internationally
terms it is maximum 3 star. This resort has no controle of the logistics,
wheter it concerns the check-in, the food and beverage, cleaning of
the rooms and the sorrounding areas. We had booked 2 rooms, which
should have been ready from 12AM. 2AM we had the first room, were
told to come back 4 times during tha afternoon and evening, and the
room was still not ready. Then they figured out that the guests in
the room, first should check out the day after. Finally we got another
room for the night, but first after been threatening that we would
move to another hotel, and demand our money back. Not a single excuse
from anyone. The breakfast buffet is ok if You come before 0830 otherwise
it is totally chaos, the tables are not cleaned, no glasses, no one
is attending You to ask for coffee etc. At the pool restaurant it
is no better. You can sit for 10 min at a table and no one is servicing
You, they look at you but they do not attend You. Twice we experienced
that we never received a dish, but it was off course on the bill.
The staff have not been trained thoroughly. Example, they never pick
anything up from the ground when they pass it, it could be trash,
dropped items, towels etc. The grass around the pool was filled with
stones, trash, cigaretbutts, empty glasses from the day before and
even pieces of glass from a broken drinkingglass. In the ground area
there was an empty shop, it looked terrible with broken floor and
empty walls. Why not cover the windows, with at nice picture? The
cleaning of the rooms were not good, the blinds in the bathroom were
covered with a thick layer of dust, and the bathtub, were not cleaned
for days. This hotels is properly a god charterhotel, because it is
filled with Swedish and Norwegian childfamilies. It was very much
like being at Mallorca. I could recommend the management of the Langham
Group did visit this resort, and saw what was going one. |

beautiful hotel, excellent location, close to other restaurants & shopping.
We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon . We believe a little more care
for honeymoon couples would add more emotional touch to the hotel..as
there were few honeymoon couples in the hotel. Nevertheless we had
a great time and enjoyed every minute of Rai waren. |

The Hotel is very good, with all the fecalities of a good 5*. Both
the swimming pools and the furnishings in the rooms are top-notch.
We had a seaview deluxe room and I would recommend this place to anyone
to stay. The views from our room was beautiful. Besides the hotel,
the whole koh lanta island is very pretty, quiet and tourist friendly.
This hotel is about 2-3 hours from the airport and about 12 kms from
the main towm (saladan). I would recommend a scooter from right opposite
the hotel as the best means of transport and the tuk-tuk s are generally
pricey. Overall its a good place to stay for someone needing a quiet
relaxing experience. There are some good bars and some excellent eatries
but not as populated and noisy as in phuket and phiphi. |

The hotel was excellent; fully equipped, very clean and comfortable,
nearly luxorious. The location was nice, on a sandy beach and no big
tourist places near by. We were very satisfied with all the service
in this hotel. Our special thanks for the very kind and flexible service
when we wanted to arrange a buddhist wedding ceremony; everything
worked out very well, and we had a truly romantic moment! We will
definitely recommend Rawi Warin! |

Very, very nice hotel. Facilities & accomodation first class. Beautifully
laid out resort style. Local beaches and sea clean and atttractive.
A number of decent bars and restaurants around within walking distance
but hiring a motocycle or small jeep is the best way to (carefully)
explore this lovely island. The resort is built into the side of a
hill. Great views from the high level rooms but a stiff climb to get
to them and no lifts! High level rooms therefore maybe not suitable
for small kids or those with walking difficulties - be aware. Overall:
9 out of 10 - very good! |
