Beach Bungalows, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach
Great bungalows right on Lantas best beach. Very friendly and helpful
staff that the family loved. The food was excellent and so was the
service. We hope to visit Lanta again in the future for a longer stay
at the Sayang beach. |

Good points:less than 100 steps to the beach, good breakfast, some
friendly staff Bad points: The bungalows are rustic. Because the toilets,showers
are in an outdoor covered unit (ensuite) you are greeted by large
bugs (cockroaches) especially at night but hey this is the tropics.

We had only booked one night so we could tjeck the hotel and seroundings
out, before deciding on staying longer. We ended up staying for 6
days. Our bungalow was perfekt with ocean view, the surroundings exstremly
romantik and their is peaceful enough on Ko lanta to feel all alone
and fantastic tours also on decerted islands. The only negativ thing
was that the staff could be a bit moody. |

Lovley resort. Simple, but beautiful, relaxing and the staff is very
helpful. The breakfast was not much for a vegetarian...no youghurt
and so on, but a sideorder was possible. We really enjoyed our stay
an will most certenly visit Sayang again! |

This is a peaceful and well managed small resort on Ko Lanta s most
beautiful beach - Long Beach. We had a superior air conditioned bungalow
and it was very nicely set up with beautiful wooden floors and nice
little balcony to sit out on to watch the dawn and enjoy the birds
and the gardens. And the layout was cleverly organised so that none
of the bunglaows overlooked each other. Only criticism was the breakfast
which did not come up to the usual standard we had encountered in
other resorts in Thailand - no bacon, cold eggs and not a great selection
of fruit. But friendly staff and nice all round. |

Clean, comfortable, and right on the beach. Breakfast was good, dinners
were better. Staff was helpful, but smiles were on vacation. This
is a relaxed, affordable, a mostly quiet place and I would leave it
on my list for a return trip. |

Comfortable bungalows right on a great beach. Good breakfast and friendly
staff. Massage on the beach and fire dancing were favorites. There
was a constant surge in power our entire stay affecting lights and
aircon. Check that out when booking. Make sure you call for the resort
to pick you up at the ferry pier. I will come back here if the power
surge is repaired. |

We are two families of 8 persons that stayed 11 nights at Sayang Beach
Bungalows in February 2007. We lived in two family bungalows with
a double bed and one bunk bed incl air con. The bungalows was OK,
wonderful nature and great atmosphere. Close to the beach there you
sat in the evening enjoying the great food with colour lights in the
trees!!! The staffs are friendly and helpful, there is always someone
who is good at English. If you walked up to the main road (about 200
meters) it was easy to catch a tuk tuk or a taxi in to Saladan. And
best of all was the great restaurant, many choices in the menu and
very good tasting. We can recommend this place, not for the high standard
but for the great environment and atmosphere. |

Good food and the nices spot on Long Beach. Could be top 5 stays at
Koh Lanta. |
