The staffs at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. The small
pool is nice as we can have it all for ourselves. The hotel is little
bit far from the beach but it s not any prob. as the hotel has a free
taxi which is avaiable everytime we need. The view from the room n.9
is not nice as there is a construction at the hotel nearby. Overall
I like this hotel and maybe be back again next year. |

We had a very pleasant stay. A shame they were refurbishing and building
(which is normal during low season I guess), but hotel management
did all necessary to make our stay unforgettable. The room was a bit
small, but the nice bath tub and shower oustde and the privacy of
the surroundings compensated. As there were only 2 guests! in the
entire hotel, we really felt privileged. They offered to drive us
to the beach, they called us to say we could use the saunda when we
like and they even ensured the bath tub outside was full by the time
we got back to the hotel! We really enjoyed this very relaxing place,
which is a little bit separated from the rest but still very close.
I would also recommend the small restaurants along the way which seerve
far better food than the tourist trap restaurants along the coast.
Thank you all, for the very pleasant stay! |

If you are a nature lover, you cannot give this resort a miss. I saw
squirrels from the inside of my room, plenty of butterflies flying
about and lush greenery everywhere. However, being so close to nature,
be prepared for some no-so-friendly bugs, such as mosquitoes. If you
are afraid of bugs and amphibians in general, I suggest you go somewhere
else. Geckos and frogs are very commonly found near your rooms. They
have various spa packages, and they are very good. Ao Nang beach is
about 10 minute walk away, but you can arrange with reception to have
them drive you there free of charge. You can book tours from the reception,
but they might not necessarily have the best price. I went to check
out other prices in town and found cheaper packages, and when I returned
to the resort, the staff made a phone call and gave a discount to
match the cheaper package I saw. I would recommend a second opinion.
Their food is pretty nice, and breakfast is usually made for you when
you arrive at the cafeteria, instead of the usual buffet spread. Some
of the villas are located quite high up on the slope. I got Villa
6, which is right at the top of the slope. I didn t have a problem
climbing up and down, but some people might find it tiring. The upside
to having a villa right on top of the slope is that it offers maximum
privacy. Other villas located lower down might give the feel of being
a little exposed. Overall, it s an excellent resort with a great personal
touch. They have only 9 villas and this gives a great sense of exclusivity
as you won t have to crowd with others to use the jacuzzi pool and
steam room. |

Nice Atmosphere and landscape, far from the beach but free transportation
is available. Excellent hospitality from the management and staff
which is made a memorable vacation for me. I also stay at Ao Nang
Villa for 2 nights after this resort, front desk staff were not friendly
at all far from Tropical Herbal Spa & Resort like earth to heaven.
I would recommend Krabi and this resort to anybody. |

Resort has nice pool and nice maintance. However, Tub in room was
quite dirty. As in: leaves, algae growth in the tub and on the walls,
and bird poop on the walls surrounding the tub. Room was very nice,
bathroom as well but short on soaps, lotions, etc. Overall not that
impressed - for the price we paid they could have looked after all
those little things. |

An absolute dream location to stay at although the signage is a little
small at the side of the road as you drive into ao nang. Tremendous
staff and thoroughly enjoyed our pampering at this location, the bungalow
was very clean and had all you wished for, the bathroom had a glorious
outdoor sunken bath of which two persons can sit side by side very
comfortably,we had a floral bath for only 500 baht which is definately
a must(very nice), we also had a thai massage which lasted 2 hours(quality). The
pool and jacuzzi are a must along with a steam room you get these
complementary when you stay. We can not say enough good things about
the place it was just fantastic. |

Nice option for couples. The hotel is not on the beach, so you have
to walk; but the hotel has a car anytime you need, so its easy to
go to the beach, where the restaurants, bars and shops are; to come
back, you can take a tuk-tuk for 40 baths, day and night (it s so
hot that is difficult to climb up!). The breakfeast is very basic,
in two days you get tired; anyway, the coffe itself is very good and
tastes like coffe, and you can get juices from natural fruits . The
garden and the pool are beautiful and pleasent. Don t expect a real
spa. The villas are nice, thai style, a lot of nature, it seems you
have privacy because every villa is far from the other, despite of
the fact that you can see everything that happens inside the rooms
from outside as the curtains are clear. We just didn t care about
that. It s clean for asian patterns, but it could be more. The only
problem is the bathroom: it is not in the room, it s outside, and
it is open, what means that there is no door (the shower and the toilet
are open). And in our villa there were some steps down to reach the
bathroom, what is not really confortable in the middle of the night.
It s a different experience, and at the end you get used to it. |

What a great place to stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful,
conveniently located just away from the busy part of the beach strip.
Facilities good, landscape beautiful although not great for those
who dont like steps. Would stay again without a doubt! |

The resort is located along a pretty steep hillside at the end of
the mainstreet (approx 5-10 minutes walk to the beach). We were in
bungalow number 4, this was located at the top back end of the resort
which meant a pretty steep climb . Pool was nice, the staff was also
nice but did not speak much english. Room was small but the outdoor
bathroom was large, privacy could at times be in jeopardy... Breakfast
was buffe' style but very simple. Never did try the spa facilities,
but they were pricy... |

I cannot rave enough about this place, especially the service and
tranquility. We stayed here for the first three nights of our honeymoon.
We then stayed in decent places in Phi Phi Island and a quiet area
in Phuket, but came rushing back to this resort for the last 2 nights
of the honeymoon because of its splendid service and value for money,
and the cheeky sense of humour of the staff. Beautiful tropical gardens,
where you really feel hidden from it all - especially in such a small
boutique resort. A little gem! |
