Tubkaak Resort
The most beautiful hotel we stayed at in Thailand - it was stunning! The staff are friendly and attentive without being suffocating and included my husband in a game of beach volleyball which was lovely. Sadly we could only stay one night. Spa was wonderful and the restaurant too.

This is an excellent resort. If you re looking for a boutique, zen-like hotel with a remote location...this is it! I am accustomed to staying at high-end hotels worldwide and am perfectly at ease highly recommending the Tubkaak.

Absolutly gorgeous. This has to be the best place we ve ever stayed in. Beautiful mini resort with only 46 rooms, located on a beutiful beach strip, with hardly any people around. Beautifuly decorated rooms, very professional crew, and a great restaurant. We stayed with two kids aged 9 and 4. Kids stayed at the ground floor room just below us. ideal. Great place for real family bonding. Kids loved the pool and the beach. If they get bored, its always possible to take a long tail boat around the islands. ours loved it. very highly recomended.

The Tubkaak is an incredibly stunning property on a very quiet beach outside of Krabi. It is an upscale adult resort that offers privacy and serenity -- not suited for children or families. If you are seeking a variety of activities or amenities, this is not the place for you (try the Sheraton Krabi Resort down the road instead). While we enjoyed our stay at The Tubkaak, our primary disappointment centered around the quality of service and training of the staff. For a luxury boutique resort in this price range, we expected a level of service much beyond what The Tubkaak currently offers. Unfortunately we found a lack of basic staff training in several areas of the resort (front desk, restaurant and spa). While the beautiful facilities of The Tubkaak seem to warrant their rates, the service does not at this point. For example, we encountered difficulties on a few occasions ordering bottled water in the restaurant -- the staff on duty did not understand what we needed. We also ran into this issue when we had questions about our room -- there was not anyone on staff who could communicate with us in English or handle the situation. For a resort that caters to European and US tourists, it is not acceptable to charge their rates and not be able to provide adequate, basic service.

The Tubkaak was by far the best resort that we stayed at in Thailand. The grounds were beautiful with lost of lush gardens and Koi pools. The setting is perfect with lush mountain jungle as the backdrop and a beautiful beach facing the Hong islands. The rooms are beautiful (request an upstairs room as they are larger, airier, and have vaulted ceilings). The shower and large tub are open air. The pool was huge and very beautiful. There was a nice spa, library/bar and convenience shop on site and the restaurant was delicious. They have Thai and European food and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Finally, the service was absolutely impeccable. Smiles everywhere! They even let us stay in an empty room because our flight didn t leave until 8 pm. The resort is VERY secluded so I would recommend making transportation arrangements ahead of time with the hotel. It is about a 45 minute drive from the airport. This is a great place for honeymooners or those who just want to relax as there isn t much nearby. We loved it and wanted to stay longer! I hichly recommend.

An utterly lovelly boutique hotel that totally undersells itself on its website. A perfect environment to unwind whether sunbathing during the day or in the evening at dinner around the lovelly Koi fish pond. Wish we had had more days to stay.

If there were such a thing as a 10-star rating, I would give it for this resort. Not only is it a beautiful and relaxing place beyond words, but the service is exceptional. I felt like a princess. It has definitely earned my recommendation. I had to leave this resort kicking and screaming. Will definitely go back!

A beautifully designed hotel with stunning views. Service was excellent, staff friendly and tour service very knowledgeable and helpful. We loved our room with its outdoor bath and shower and lots of lovely finishing touches. Great pool which was never crowded because of the great beach. Food very good too. We would love to visit again.
