Kaek Sunset Beach Resort, Krabi,Tubkaak Beach
In general it was good, the place is breathtakingly beautiful, very
clean, stylishly decorated, taken great care of. No problems with
electricity or hot water. The bungalow is very small and we would
advise to equipe it with the tea pot as the place is quite away from
caffes where you could have a cup of tea after 10pm. Chairs and small
table on the terrace would also give more comfort and partly reimburse
the small size of the room. The staff people were very nice and we
got friendly help from the restaurant staff even after it was closed.
The beach is clean and interesting to explore after the water goes
away - lots of sea life as if on the Discovery! The only minus was
that the waters start to away at 2pm and after lunch you have to walk
a long distance to sweam in the sea or go to the pool. The pool is
very clean, very nice and beautifully decorated. The restaurant location
gives nice sea view but would be more successfull if offers more choice
of food. Renting of motobike gives opportuniy to explore the places
around and it was very interesting and we found nice alternatives
to our restaurant. I would highly recomment the place for the people
who like quite and natural locations, fresh air and less people around. |

We arrived late at the hotel but we were immediately received with
warm welcome by the friendly staffs who seem to tend to our every
needs promptly and with a great attitude! The service here is terrific
and i would definitely reccommend it to my friends. Also, the room
we reserved is actually a beach front villa which was wonderful as
well..The cosy little villa faced the beautiful beach and is just
a short walk away from the restaurant. We were there during the New
Yr s Eve and had a wonderful time. It may not be as populated or crowded
as the town or AO nang Beach, but the staffs are really trying their
best to make the guests feel special..If you re looking for a private
and special experience, definitely this hotel.. My friends and i will
be coming back soon for another relaxing holiday.. |

Arriving at Tup Kaek from the sweltering heat of Bangkok was literally
a breath of fresh air. The self contained bungalow, while a little
small, was very comfortable and the service across the board was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and we were
lucky to make friends with a couple of the staff who then took us
out for a night on the town in nearby Ao Nang and let us stay the
night at their home. The resort facilities were great ie; pool, internet
access, food, room service, housekeeping, laundry, etc. The private
beach was as good as it looked online and there were plenty of activities
to get involved with. We spent New Years Eve at Tup Kaek and enjoyed
a seafood smorgasbord followed by a game where every bungalow wins
a prize (my prize being a 9 year old bottle of red Thai wine), followed
by some games on the beach then a display of firedancing and finally
capped off by lighting lamps at midnight on the beach that drifted
off into the night sky. An amazingly relaxing experience overall in
a tranquil location and looked after by fantastic staff. Thank you
Tup Kaek. |

Quite good resort, very quiet area if you are looking for a peaceful
time away from the maddening crowd! Close to the beach, but a long
way from the town, markets, & any tourist type spots & only taxis
available for transport, no cheap tuk-tuks. We hired a motor scooter,
which was the saving for us because we didn t want to spend all our
time on the beach, plus the weather wasn t sun baking weather while
we were there. Clean & tidy resort. |

This hotel was fantastic. Soem construction still underway but it
was very discreet and noise etc was never an issue. Staff are INCREDIBLE
- very friendly & obliging. The rooms were lovely, we were upgraded
on arrival. Beach is very nice, completely private and away from hawking/bustle
etc. BUT as it is so isolated if you dont have transport (we rented
a motorbike) it is more difficult to see other parts, eat at other
restaurants etc. The day trip to Hong Island organised by the hotel
was excellent. Food was great thought compared to the restaurants
in teh nearby villages it was expensive so after the first two nights
we hired the motorbike and ventured further afield. If youre after
rest, relaxation, privacy then this is fabulous,we will go back. |

The location is perfect, with wonderful views across the bay to the
Hong Islands. The accommodation is immaculate and the resort itself
beautiful, with well-maintained lush vegetation around the bungalows
and the beach just a few feet in front of your door. The service is
warm and sweet. The only criticism is for the restaurant. Wonderful
food, but a barn-like interior. They need to rethink the lighting
and make it more intimate somehow. Guests are going to eat next door
at the spa resort. |

Tup Kaek Sunset Beach Resort, Krabi,Tubkaak Beach
I am very dissapointed, to come so far away, and The Tup Kaek Sunset
Beach Resort, did not at all match the description, the staff there
where not able to communicate in English, and the food they served,
was not worth eating, the breakfirst was a cup of coffee a glass fruit
juice and slices of toast bread you could toast if you wanted. When
I have said this I may say that the bungalows where fine and clean,
and close the the sea, but staying so far away from everything, I
did expect a hotel with a fine restaurant, and maybe a little shop
at the hotel. My holiday where saved by Tupkaak, the hotel close to
Tup Kaek Sunset Beach Resort. |
