Really nice hotel and staff. Beds were hard as rocks and the aircondition
so loud it woke me up. Apart from that the stay were absolutely great

absolut nicht zu empfehlen. be careful!! the hotel is verry unsafe.
almost all our money has been robbed from the hotelsafe!! all in all
7 persons have been robbed their money in 24 h. (100 000 bath ) from
the hotelsafe. the manger ( who is the manager from the royal lanta
hotel )was verry unfrendly and unkoperative. he did not excuse did
not if us any money back even if the money was stollen from the hotelsafe.
dont go to this hotel!!! |

The bungalows are very nice but at the time we were their the beach
was dirty, next to our bungalow they built up another hotel (noisy)and
the beaches at Ko Phi Phi und Ko Raya were much, much nicer. |

Hotel booked by internet on the Sawadee site and all was OK. The Twinbay
is OK for room, pool and on the beach; the room was clean and the
employeees very helpful. However I do not recommend this hotel as
it is located about 2 KMS from Saladan village and the road to the
hotel is just about imprcticable with mud up to 1 ft deeep and nowhere
to go except by taxi and taxis do not like this road anyways I do
not understand how hotel can put up with this road. Down the beach
and reachable by another road much better is Noble House, D and R
Cottages, Royal Lanta. |

Nice rooms, very quiet, nice location on the beach. Good value. The
hotel is on the northern, busier beaches of Koh Lanta; but we were
not disturbed by noisy clubs / restaurants because this hotel s location
is a few hundred metres from the main drag. Nice air conditioned family
room with bunks. The beach is not a white sand beach; but very calm
waters, and our young children enjoyed looking at all the crabs and
other sea-life, and playing in the swimming pool (with children s
pool too). Only downsides were that the brochure / internet information
talked about sailing, of which there is NONE on Koh Lanta at all,
even at other hotels. The other downside was that the restaurant menu
was relatively limited, and the inexperienced restaurant staff sometimes
struggled to understand what we were asking for. The restaurant manager
however did speak excellent English and was able to suggest good items
to choose off the menu; but let himself down by saying that he did
not like Tourists! |
