Rimpao Hotel - Kalasin
I think, it is the only hotel in this region with a pool, which was the important thing for us to go there with our children. We stayes one night on travelling further on. Everything was okay, clean rooms, very very big pool.

Sima Thani Hotel - Nakhon Ratchasima
Have stayed here a number of times and generally happy with levels of service and accomodation. Wireless internet works well in the rooms. My only critical comment would be that some of he reception staff need to be trained to smile!!!

Juldis Khao Yai Resort & Spa - Nakorn Ratchasima
Albeit the hotel is a bit old (around 30 years old) our newly renovated Premium suite were comfortable and bright and had nice views over the pretty rose garden. The property on which the hotel is located is amazing, huge garden with beautiful old trees and a stream. That made for a perfect morning walk or can also rent a bicycle and bike around. We also tried the Orchid spa. Although the spa room felt more like a converted hotel room, the quality of massage left me satisfied. Juldis is great for anyone who doesn t mind the old buidling design but enjoys the open space with mountain views and lots of greenery. Thumbs up for the resort gardeners.

Royal Mekong Nongkhai Hotel - Nongkhai
I booked a Standard Room. Very large, with view on Nam Khong. Not high standard but very OK for the price. Restaurant so-so. Breakfast OK. Swimming pool not clean. Very far from the town center. Can recommend.

Roi-Et City Hotel - Roi-Et
A very nice hotel, clean, and quiet. Room was large and comfortable with a couple English speaking channels on the TV and have no complaints other than the water is not always hot, sometimes it would only get warm.

Then later in the stay the phone would not ring to announce incoming all...told reception...they did nothing. As per directions: tries to get an international call to Australia from my room.... 001 61 2 9527 91xx..recored message this service has been temporaly susopended Grrrr. Laithong Hotel - Ubon Ratchathani
good value for money, reasonably priced resturant, good if repretative breakfast. rooms cleaned daily, free airport pick up. one minus point, the in-house services are priced a litle crazily,1600 baht to wash a few cloths and we tried to hire a car and driver to take us to the local zoo(40km away) we were quoted 1800 bt,ok we thought a little steep for 3 hours max work, but we agreed until they told us we had to pay for the petrol as well. none the less would recommend.

The hotelrooms are very dirty, not clean and the say ther is a breakfast buffet every morning.also that was not every day. They say on the website they have a golfcourse.but they don t have that.At diner for two,we get first the dinner for one,and after that the dinner for the second person. So that is not a nice dinner togetter.
