Nongkhai
Grand Hotel, Nongkhai
The Nongkhai Grand Hotel is really a great hotel in the north of Thailand.
All the staff gives you a warm welcome and a smile every time. I have
stayed only two nights there, but I really felt like home. All persons
in this hotel are really friendly and all speak really good English.
(I had bad experiences with not English speaking staff in some hotels
in Udon Thani before many times.) A great hotel with a nice and clean
swimming-pool. Large and clean rooms with nice balcony and with a
nice view. Nongkhai is a really lovely town in the north. I can recommend
this hotel to everybody. |

We only stayed one night. Hotel needs some TLC, but overall it was
ok. |

When I arrived they had me in a twin (think that was the only option
on the web but not sure) which was dingy with 2 single beds. I had
paid 1200 baht in advance and was charged 400 addtional baht per night
to upgrade to delux with a king...worth the 400 baht as the room was
much nicer. Only wish it was an original option on sawadee. Otherwise
hotel was fine. |

Nice clean friendly hotel with adequate facilities. Situated on a
ring road, about 7 minutes walk from the town centre. Recommended. |
