I found the Laytrang Resort hotel very disappointing. I got no welcome,
there was no atmosphere at all. The rooms were very basic and the
service average at best. |

Ok Bungalows, clean rooms, but beds to hard. Nice garden. Food was
ok but service was bad. They did not speak english. Close to Pak Meng
pier, helpful peoples in village. Recommend jaravee Tour very serviceminded
family, they have sightseeing tours around the islands. regards Lasse

Room was basic but functional and clean with a bathroom as big as
the bedroom, but it s worth it for the super laid-back atmosphere,
the beautiful gardens, lovely staff and great restaurant. The views
from the beach are spectacular, and the area is great, but the beach
was very shallow and no water at high tide - it was a long walk or
motorbike ride to get to a beach where you could swim. Easy access
to some beautiful islands though. My time here was a highlight of
the trip - if you want a truly laid back atmosphere, this is the place. |

Very quiet and isolated which suited us fine. The bungalow contained
a rather small bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a large ensuite.
Bungalows set in attractive tropical gardens. Restaurant is good,
just as well because the nearest competition is 2 km to the south.
The tiny open Muslim shop nearby is an interesting and cheap alternative
for breakfast though. All kinds of boat transport for islands and
rivers can be negotiated in the adjacent fishing village. Would go
there again. |

The bungalow/hotel was very nice, and the staff was friendly and always
ready to help. Close to the pier and easy acess to boot traveling
among the islands. |

Nice large, clean room with a rather unique pedastel area which the
bed sits on, raising it above the level of the rest of the room. Food
was very good and reasonably priced at the hotel. |
