Hotel is really old and need refurbishing. Breakfast is not very good.
They randomly charge you 300THB if you take a lady. Avoid! |

My brother and I paid 1000 Baht per night for a twin occupancy. Frankly,
the hotel looked absolutely fantastic when we saw it. We were expecting
economy class, if you know what I mean. The room was brilliant, fantastic
view of the sea, on the 10th floor, across the hard rock hotel. The
staff was not terribly friendly and the room service sucked. However,
for a clean, nice room on the 10th floor with a beautiful view of
the blue sea, and all for 1000 baht a night, with breakfast, I should
be whipped for complaining. Would I return? You bet. |

We stayed here for 4 nights. There s only one thing to say: WONDERFUL.
Hotel is clean, breakfast is ok, staff is really kind and helpful.
Heart of the city is close (10 mins by walk)but rooms are really quiet.Rate
is really convenient. We will come back for sure (hope in August).
I suggest this hotel, but leave a room free for me. |

The hotel is great. Rooms are generally very clean and the bed is
comfortable and really nice to sleep.Sad to say that the buffet breadfast
was lousy and the quality of coffee served in the breadfast was lousy..it
is contained in an urn and the self help sort of stuff. |

Run down and in very much in need of some money being spent on the
place. Threadbare but clean best describes the hotel. The pool is
fine but get there very early to get one of the eight sun loungers
on offer. Breakfast was poor to say the least. Overall it s not the
Marriott but then your are not paying the same rate, probably overall
just about value for money. |

Our deluxe room was large, airy and comfortable but the hot water
supply was erratic. The public areas of the hotel are looking a bit
tired and worn, especially the furniture. Breakfast was OK but not
very appetising and could turn into a bit of a scrum at times. Overall,
for the money, this is not a bad hotel, but I would recommend spending
a bit more for something better. You get what you pay for !! |

Ten years ago this might have a good hotel.Rooms are a little run
down.Breafast was so poor that after the first day we went just down
the road and paid in the first place available.Very friendly staff.Hotel
used a lot by tour groups and over run by groups.Overall not bad considering
the price but star rating certainly not justified |
