I really enjoy the stay in Pattya Garden even though it takes me a
little time to turn around the street to find out the way. You can
hardly find a sign for hotel direction (but other hotel does) along
the street side unless you are right in front of it:) However, the
house is nice, clean and commodious with comfortable king size bed.
Security never seem to be an issue here and service is overall good.
No doubt I d make it my first choice upon my next visit in Pattya. |

Loved it here. Had made reservation for the standard (run of the house)
rooms, but were upgraded to the superior rooms upon arrival, without
even asking for it. The two pools seemed great but sadly didn t have
a chance of getting into either of them. the breakfast is nice, but
a little more vegetarian food would be welcome. just wish our room
had a bathtub. would definately recommend this place. |

The Pattaya Garden Hotel has to be one of the worst hotels in Pattaya.
I have been coming to Pattaya for more than eight years now and have
never had an experience as bad as I just had at the Pattaya Garden
Hotel. The staff was not very helpful. I ended up checking out two
days early and moved to the Diamond Beach Hotel in South Pattaya.
The only reason that I stayed as long as I did is, I prepaid my accomodations
through sawadee.com. The Diamond Beach is not my favorite hotel either,
but I will gladly take it over the Pattaya Garden any day, as their
hotel is just old, but the staff goes out of their way to be helpful.
The staff at Pattaya Garden spoke very little English, or pretended
to and really was not effective at all. The rooms were substandard
and looked nothing like the rooms they are misrepresenting on the
Internet. The food was so bad that I only used the restuarant once.
The room was full of musquitos and they were definitely biting. They
hovered in my room like attack helicoptors in formation waiting to
strike. I bought spray from 7-11 and sprayed my room on three separate
occasions and it was not very effective. They also treat women very
badly, as if every women brought in the hotel works in a bar. I had
a friend of mine try to visit and was turned away because she forgot
her ID that day. This lady is an assistant manager in one of the hotels
in Pattaya herself. I told the staff at Pattaya Garden that I would
sign accepting full responsibility for the lady while on their premisises.
They even refused that. All in all, my experience with the Pattaya
Garden Hotel was comparable to a really bad nightmare. I do not recommend
this hotel to anyone. There are much better hotels in Pattaya for
the same amount of money that the Pattaya Garden charges. |

Located in a quieter area north of the late night entertainment action,
but access to Beach Road and Walking Street is easy by bus or taxi.
Room was very clean and well serviced, and I was very happy with the
attention of the staff. My only (minor)grouse was the breakfast, which
was quite boring, and without variation. Overall, good memories. |

The Hotel was very good and the rooms was very neat but it was little
far from the beach road and no taxi drivers were willing to come and
I got to wait for nearly 1 hour to check in though I reached the hotel
very late |

most impressed with the staff at this hotel. cannot complain about
our room as it was clean and spacious. would just like to mention
that parts of the hotel certainly needs cleaning up, ie the windows
of the shop in the lobby and a few other areas. apart from this we
were very impressed and had a wonderful stay. |

I found the hotel bungalow in which i stayed for 3 weeks very satisfactory
my only moan if any was the hot water only being hot for a couple
of hours per day mid afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpfull
I will use again |

I was very dissapointed with the Policy of the hotel with regard to
Thai Ladies. I am a Thai National and I have been married to an Englishman
for over two years. I live with my husband in England and I am pleased
to say that the English coleagues and friends I have, always treat
me with great respect and friendship. I met my husband four years
ago whilst I was working for a large Thai hotel group as a member
of the finance and accounting department. My husband was staying at
the hotel and we met whilst discussing financial issues relating to
one of his hotel bills. I was horrified, and I must add that my husband
was extremely angry, when severall of the staff at the Pattaya Garden
Hotel acted as if I was a `prostitute`, because I was married to a
Farrang. Needles to say I nor my husband would ever stay there again. |
