This hotel was not very nice at all. There were 2 pools as I assume
the hotel used to be 2 seperate hotels and is now one. The first one
was algae green and had hair, feathers and dirt floating on top and
dirt that had sunk to the bottom - disguisting! We would not chance
going in for fear of catching something. We tried 4 hotel rooms before
finally accepting the best of a bad bunch. The first one had a large
hole in the wall that was stuffed with newspaper. The second and third
one had bathrooms that were really dirty and the shower curtains were
covered with mould. Our bathroom didn t have a hot shower all of the
time and when you flushed the toilet you were sprayed with toilet
water from the handle. The room smelt horrid - musty and so did the
sheets. When you sit around the pool it stinks of sewage and the tiles
on the bottom of the pool in the baby pool cut our feet and knees!
Not great for babies then! It is like a derelict hotel and you sit
it an old reception for breakfast with broken lights, holes in the
floor, peeling paint etc. The staff who work here are so miserable
not like your usual thai staff and who could blame them!? I think
this is a Russian package holiday resort. |

We arrived VERY late on the 12. of february, and the hotel were fully
booked. However, our room was available, but was not very nice. Looked
old, and was dirty. The service at the hotel were good, but we chose
to check out the following morning. I am however very satisfied with
Sawadee, and will always book my trips to Thailand here. Maybe we
where unlucky with the room, and this influenced our experience at
the hotel. Per Morten |

An older hotel in need of painting and maintenance, but for the price
the room was sufficient. The hotel staff was very good, prompt to
answer questions and provide any service. Close to the beach, about
a block or so, but you must pass many, many bars and cigarettes to
get there. |

Nice pictures shown- must have been a nice palace 15 years ago!Red-light
and darkness in front now. Excellent administration - could top any
public admin in Europe. Bothering discussions on issues resulting
after in peanuts!Service, Thai hospitality? Forgotten in this place,
probably soon eaten by surrounding buildings. Breakfast? Tired as
Pattaya farangs inn the morning, just leave and go outside! Rooms?
Need maintanance! So? Simply cheap, but not cheap enough for this. |

years but don t exist. no English movie channel. only good thing is
going there with kids, can watch them from the balcony when they are
in the pool. |

Our group really enjoyed our stay at the white house hotel The hotel
itself, had excellent facilities including a fantastic large swimming
pool and brilliant, generous breakfasts included. We also thought
the rooms were all of an excellent standard and all enjoyed the television
facilities especially the movie channel. We were lesser impressed
by the setting of the hotel. We feel that the nature of the area should
be at least mentioned on the hotel s website. |

Huge and long resort situated in the end of a cosy and lively (two
minute walk) alley, filled with Scandinavian bars and restaurants.
In the other end of the alley is the Jomtien Beach Road situated.
The pool that is actually swimmable doesn t look too clean though.
Great breakfast buffet with American and Continental choises! The
rooms are clean and well kept with good AC, but the cans of drinks
inside the fridge were dirty. The elevator is dodgy, it stopped a
lot. We know the area and the hotel from earlier trips and use it
as a transit area to other parts of eastern Tahiland after a long
flight to Bangkok. The hotel has great staff that understands english
during day time and helpfull staff in the cashiers desk with a safety
box service. But have an eye on things so that there will be no misunderstandings.
Some experienced that their cleaning was sendt to another hotel room
etc. The Scandinavian bars and restaurants close at 1:00 am, so it
is a cosy and quiet area at night. We came back and stayed here an
additonal three more days before leaving for our return to Europe
from Bangkok. |
