Bor
Saen Villa & Spa, Phang Nga, Bor Saen
What a rip off. The accommodation was the only thing that was ok.
There was no information given to you at all about the Resort, activities
and facilities. Communicationg with staff was very difficult due to
the lack of English. We went to breakfast and we were told that we
would be served an American breakfast. A plate of cold pre-cooked
fried egg, frankfurts, bacon, ham and potatoes arrived. We requested
for orange juice and coffee. We were served orange cordial and Nescafe.
We then requested for expresso or perculated coffee and fresh orange
juice and were told that it was not part of the breakfast and needed
to be ordered and paid for. After a complaint to the Manager, the
next day, an egg station was set-up in the breakfast area and we were
able to receive expresso and fresh orange juice. For the high price
charged, the breakfast is very ordinary. Going to breakfast was a
nightmare. There is no Fitness Centre and community pool. A request
for an iron and ironing board to House keeping and Reception came
with the same response that the Resort hasn t one. This was our seventh
trip to Thailand and this was the highest price we paid for a Resort
with no services. Some travellers are prepared to pay the high prices
in return for service. This commodity was non-existant in this Resort.
We were so sceptical about the Resort that we did not want to take
any chances in patronising their Spa. We carry bitter memories and
will never return. |
