This hotel was awful in every way! It felt like beeing on a cruise.
All package meal deals (buy 10 coupons get 3 meals free!) - facepaintings,
batik, thai cooking lessons, you name it. It is so big - like beeing
on a big ship - just longing to get off. Staff was not unfriendly
but... you know.. It s to big to get to know you or your needs. And
the hotel takes pride in welcoming the ones thats been here like 13
times instead of knowledge you on your first stay. The room standard
is also variying - we booked 2 suites, one was on the topfloor, views,
big bathroom, 2 TV sets, lounge areas etc. The second suite was on
the bottom floor, with greeneries growing making the room dark and
mouldy, no sitting area and only 1 TV set - and still you pay the
same price! I dont recomend this hotel to anyone - for the price you
pay here you can get a better luxury hotel in Phuket and far more
stylish. Just face it - the colonial times are over! |

From check in to check out at Cape Panwa Hotel we received excellent
service which only added to our fabulous holiday. We stayed in a Jacuzzi
Suite room that had a great view over the water and was delighted
that it was always clean and fresh and the jacuzzi was health checked
every day. Breakfast was buffet style and was always good quality
and plentiful. The beach is a good one and laying on the beach beds
there or beside the pool was very relaxing. We will certainly return
to Cape Panwa Hotel when we go back to Phuket. |

This is a very nice hotel to stay during the monsoon season. For those
not familiar, the monsoon season is inconvenient not for the rain,
which happens but usually don t last long and actually cools the place,
but for the strong waves which makes it impossible to swim in many
beaches on the west coast of Phuket. The beach at Cape Panwa Hotel
is calm, clean and relatively pretty. The beach is also quite private,
and closed to outsiders. There are plenty of small fishes you can
see snorkeling without swimming too far from shore. Rooms are nice,
but not luxurious. One downside is the limited choice of restaurants
in the immediate area. One recommendation is the seafood restaurant
close to the nearby Bay Hotel. |

This hotel/resort was magnificent! The location was secluded and very
private-with beautiful beaches surrounding the resort. The staff was
very friendly and most accomodating. Everything about this experience
was perfect! Highly recommended!! |
