Facility = 3 star Service = 4 star It is not the 5 star that it claims
to be. It is an old hotel and show its wear and tear. They were claiming
that the beds were very firm. It turned out that they had swaped the
top with base. The top was so worn out that it could not be used.
Definitely not worth the price. |

VERY NICE THAI-STYLE. We travelled with two kids (15 months old, and
5 years old). We had an extra bed in the room for the oldest, and
brough our own kids-cot. It worked fine, although it was slightly
congested in the room. Breakfast is superb. The pool is perfect for
small kids, due to the wide stairs into the water. The hotel appears
to be in fine condition. We had an ocean view room, and it was fine,
although the palm-leaves on the 3rd floor takes up a little of the
view. Room-service is great with small kids. And the hotel is quite
flexible to bring you meals from any of the numerous restaurants (so
you are not stuck with the roomsrvice-menu)... Thai-Massage is provided
outdoor close to the pool and overlooking the beach (cost is around
THB 500/hour). The beach is very fine (in May), and the vendors are
calm and not agressive. It is actually quite nice to be able to go
only 10-20 meters to buy icecream, beverages, pinapples etc. There
is a small shopping-village outside the resort, where you buy the
usual stuff (souvenirs, beers, chips etc). Great place. You can stay
for 1-2 weeks,and it is up to yourself to visit the rest of Thailand
outside the gates.... |

A fabulous hotel in a fabulous location.5 star all the way and although
pricey it is worth it. We would be happy to recommend to any of our
friends and relatives. |
