Kata
Minta, Kata Beach
The hotel room was really nice as shown in the picture, the hotel
itself was nice but a little dated and everywhere smelled abit musty
but overall good and the staff were friendly. One big negative was
the food which was not good, we only ate here once but it was bad
enough for us to eat out for every meal afterwards. |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach
Kata minta is fantastic. Location could not be better 5 mins walk
away from the beach, amazingly friendly staff and fabulous rooms.
The rooms were the nicest in all my stay in Thailand, nice size, beautiful
tiled bathroom with a large bath with a great powerful shower(see
pics!). Breakfast was included and although not much choice it was
more than adequate. The double bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning
was superb and very, very quiet when running(so no problem sleeping
with it on) and there was a decent select of channels on the tv. Kata
itself is a fabulous place to base yourself, plenty of bars and restaurants
yet much more low key and quieter than patong. The beach here is gorgeous,
very good swimming with nice smallish waves, and there is also very
good snorkling at the southern end of the beach. I couldn't recommend
this hotel enough. Also i would highly advise a trip to the khai islands,
20 mins by speedboat from phuket, the islands are beautiful with really
rich coral + marine life. |

This is a great small hotel within 3 minutes of the beach and just
round the corner from all the shops and restaurants. The staff are
lovely and friendly. The hotel is very clean and has good shower in
the room plus a nice balcony. The basement jacuzzi/mini pool is quite
cool ie. not heated but a welcome treat after a hot day walking around.
I would definitely stay here again! |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach
This small hotel was comfortable, pleasant and traditionally Thia.
The staff were extremely helpfull and friendly. Our room was the delux
middle front with a balcony overlooking the entrance restraunt area,
the room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities. The restraunt
served the best food in Kata Beach, especially the coconut milk curries.
I have stayed at a number of hotels throughout Thiland and this little
gem is one that I would visit again. FANTASTIC 8/10 |

Kata Minta, Kata Beach
Small and cozy hotel located close to Kata Beach. Friendly and helpful
staff who could speak reasonably good English. The jacuzzi was very
pretty and looked newly-built --- but the water was extremely cold!
Our room window faced the hallways of the hotel next door so it was
almost impossible to keep the curtains opened. On the whole, Kata
Minta is a good place to stay --- but don t forget to bring your own
bedroom slippers! |

Lovely hotel, excellent breakfasts and very helpful staff. Set back
from the beach - which means you are away from all the tacky resorts,
in the quiet part of Kata beach. |

This hotel was wonderful! It is cute, clean, comfortable, and conveniently
located. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the
in-room massage was the best I ve ever had. I highly recommend this
hotel. |

Excellent room - 4 star standard. Great small hotel. No pool but giant
jacuzzi and sauna. Staff very friendly, though service was a bit slow.
Overall excellent value. |

Our stay was short, but sweet. Not only did we find the accommodation
to be well above average, but the staff presented themselves in the
most proffessional manner. Their smiles intact all the time. We will,
should we ever make the journey back to Phuket, guaranteed stay at
Kata Minta once more. |
