We liked the location of the Novotel Panwa. It is a bit remote, so if you are looking to relax you will enjoy it. The beach is lovely, with lots of shade trees for those who don t want too much sun. The sunsets are gorgeous. My only complaint would be that the food isn t great, just OK. Besides breakfast we only ate at the hotel once because we were disappointed.

This is a very nice resort right on a long sandy beach with stunning views of neighbouring islands. Good value for money, friendly service, nice pool, our room had a sea view and a good size balcony area for sitting out. There is a little shop by the pool for souvenirs and general tourist reqirements. The hotel runs a shuttle service into Phuket town for more serious shopping or eating out. This could be useful for a stay of more than a few days because the hotel restaurant menu is not that extensive. I loved this place, but my wife didn t like its isolation, she would rather have been able to walk out of the hotel straight into a bustling sopping area.I don t know how busy it gets in high season, but it was very peaceful low season. There is a childrens club for an hour every morning and afternoon and a small childrens play area with swings and a slide. There are lots of steps, so not recommended if you have any mobility problems. Very relaxed atmosphere. I would go back tomorrow. The back of the beach is shaded by trees. This is the ideal spot for relaxing on a sun louger with a good book and a drink enjoying the gentle breeze off the sea.

Very nice and quiet hotel. Service is very good. We asked to change room three times and the staff accommodated us without any complaint. Beach is good for swimming only when the tide is high. A bit far from crowd but it was exactly what we were looking for. Will stay again when we visit Phuket in the future.

Hotel was very nice and room was exceptional (we booked beachfront deluxe). Really was right on the beachfront and the beach was wonderful. Hotel arranged cleaning of beach each morning which helped keep the sand free of sharp shells and cocunt residue which was seen further down. Pool was beautiful and has great views. Pity that there is nothing else in the vicinity of the hotel for a walk or change of scenery. Recommended for short stays but trips into Phuket town would be frequent if staying longer. Personally we did not rate the ever-present trio at the hotel who moved between restaurant and bar and came around the tables while you were eating. Breakfast was via a voucher system and a prepacked box as we were leaving before breakfast time.
