Phuket Resort, Rawai Beach
I would not consider staying at this resort again, mainly because
its location did not suit my needs. The beach that it is across the
road from is not suitable for swimming and it is at least 20 mins
drive to the first decent beach (Kata beach). Because it is so isolated
it was expensive to get a taxi from the airport to the resort and
it took nearly an hour to get there. The rooms are very basic and
quite dirty and the hot water and the phone did not work. We ended
up checking out early and moving to a better location. |

Honestly, it was pretty bad. There was water on my toilet floor, from
an unidentified source, which the hotel engineer gave a cursory check
for and then grinned and told me, It s Ok. Then he left and nobody
came to clean up the sodden towels on the floor, for all of 6 hours,
until I pretty much bared my teeth at the reception. Mosquitoes are
common in the Building Side of the hotel, and the air conditioning
rattles and works a mite dodgy. The telephone in the rooms don t work,
even though they still exist on the bedside tables (ergo, why are
they even there?) The food at the hotel restaurant was significantly
worse and more expensive than the food we found on the Paton stretch.
To be fair, though, the towels were thick and good. |

Poolside room was good, and service adequate. Could recommend it for
a shorter stay in Rawai. |

Reasonably priced (off season) and quite good rooms and service (Poolside
Rooms). Recommended for a shorter stay. |

A reasonable priced hotel, although breakfast was not included. Clean
rooms and very nice staff! The area is extremely away from `Partying`,
and that suited me perfect! Need to rent a motorbike or car to be
able to get to the beaches. |

Looks better on internet than in the real world.Very poor Newyears
celebration.Too many cockers in the bathroom.No breakfast included
so quite expensive for the standard given. Nice staff though and well
