Lucky we had 2 rooms and could wait in other room. Staff not helpful or friendly, everything is more expensive than elesewhere (eg laundry, airport taxi)

I had a little problem regulating the temperature of the shower, but after a couple of days I got used to it.No guest-fee in room. I enjoyed staying there for thre weeks.

The rooms are well-equipped, but do not offer much of a view. The food in the restaurant is 100% Italian - it tastes great, but is very pricey if compared to the local prices. One more thing - try not to get rooms nb. 1 or 2, because they are on the first floor, while next door is a rather noisy pool lounge.

emer  2004-11-09 until 2004-11-12	Southland Inn Hotel, Karon Beach Fantastic place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Good location near Karon beach and within 10mins of Patong by tuk tuk. Great Italian restaurant downstairs too. Would recommend here to anyone.
