Resort Hotel, Rayong, Laem Mae Pim
We stayed at the hotel a few days while looking for a house to buy
in the area. The location was good for the purpose and they have a
clean pool area with a wonderful view of the bay. The hotel is rather
isolated and up a steep hill so it is almost impossible to walk to
other places you have to use the hotel van. We got a enormous room
with separate livingroom and bedroom. The room wasn?t very clean and
especially not the bathroom. We asked for a babycot and they brought
it but made the bed with only a sheet on the wooden base so they don?t
seem used to children at the hotel. The hotel is manly used for different
convents for Thai companies and organizations this affects the breakfast,
some days a big buffe other days a few thai breakfast alternatives
and one day served at the table. The restaurant should be avoided!!!
Expensive compared to the hotelrooms and adding the tax and service
charge. We also got food poisoning from one meal and had to spend
too much time in the not so clean bathroom. Thay also overcharge for
taxiservice to other places like Bangkok. So for a one or two day
stop for business the hotel is ok for the money but not for a vacation
or longer stay and you should have your transportations arranged from
another place. |

So quiet I was one of only a handful of guests. The location and hotel
are superb, especially the huge swimming pool. Our room was lovely.
The only downside was the fact that most of the facilities were not
open as the hotel was so quiet. The european food and breakfast were
not that good but on the whole I really enjoyed my 3-day stay. Very
relaxing, thank you. |
