Lima Bella Resort, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach
The resort was nice although it\ s a little difficult to walk to the beach due to location, you could walk but when it rains this would be difficult since the roads could be flooded out and difficult to walk during the night incase you would go out late. Last but not least the service was great! with lots of smile. Would recommend to others!!

Beautiful small resort with fantastic pool. Our room was the budget garden room but we found it luxurious with a huge comfy bed. Explaining basic things to staff was v difficult as no one seemed to speak even basic English but they were friendly and welcoming. Not being right on the beach was an advantage to us as it kept the place quiet. The beach was crowded and smelly !

The Resort was not as grand as I expected. The internet shows a much more fantastic view of the place. In the pool there were big tablets (7cm in diameter) laying on the bottom slowly melting to nothing. I wunder what that was....thank good my youngest kid was five and is not puting thing in her mouth any more. The personal was fantastic, giving us a perfect service all time. The night personal is a other question, he was really tired, I tried to wake up when I needed help geting a skorpion out of our room. That took me some time.... But still Koh Samet was a fantastic island and Sai Kaiw Beach wonderful. Best regards Familjen Gullstedt Sverige

Having thoroughly researched the accomodations in Koh Samet prior to making my bookings, I arrived at the island not expecting much in terms of hotel quality around the main beach (Sai Kaew). However, I had an overall postive experience at the charming Lima Bella and felt it was good value for money. I would recommend the hotel to those looking mid-price accommodation, a quiet hotel close by (but not on) the beach, and simple yet charming and relatively clean rooms. Upon entering Lima Bella I was greeted by friendly staff and a pretty, manicured garden (a nice contrast to the beach scenery). There s also a mid-size pool and bar. We chose the most affordable Garden Puta room. It was simple and functional, but not without some design aesthetics that added a splash of colour to a neutral backdrop. Also, I peered into the window of a larger Suite room and it looked great. Bed sheets were clean, but the hotel could take better care of the walls and shower curtain. I only have two complaints: the smell of sewage from the bathroom - either through the drainage or toilet - that rose up once or twice during our stay. But luckily the smell didn t last long. Secondly, don t expect a tasty breakfast - pretty basic and poorly cooked. Lima Bella is not directly on the beach but about 300m away (3-5 min walk) on a dusty path - which was fine by me. However, if you re looking for beach-front accommodation, you may want to consider Sai Kaew beach resort or Le Blanc beach resort. We rented a motorbike to explore the island, over to Ao Prao beach on the North West side. That area is much more chic, with proper resort-style hotels (although we did not see the rooms). Lima Bella s sister hotel, Lima Coco, is located there. It s modern and probably the most hip on the island, in terms of design. I recommend heading there for the sunset, followed by a BBQ dinner. The sand/ water is generally nicer over on Sai Kaew.

Vi kan varmt rekomendera detta hotell p? Koh Samet. Familj?r st?mning. Kan varmt rekomenderas.
