Great quiet location. Rooms are clean and tidy. Thai food in the resort was also great. Recommend hiring a scooter as it is a long way from everything. LOVED IT!!

Kurz: Jederzeit gerne wieder. Feel the difference.

We had a wonderful experience at Bay View Resort. It was quiet, the staff were friendly and professional and the food at the resort was excellent. The beach in front of the resort is quiet, with calm water to swim in. There wasn t a masseur at this resort when we were there, however it was very easy to visit a resort down the beach and enjoy massages there. I would definitely recommend this resort. We intend on going back next year. Rod and Michael from London on our honeymoon.

Overall a nice, quiet location. You have to be fit to climb the hill everytime. The bungalow is very small. And the trees prevented us from seeing a lot of bay, beach or sea. The sea is very undeep, so you depend on high water to swim, the beach and sea have many rocks, so always walk and swim with shoes. For entertainment you have to go far. The restaurant of the Bay view Resort is relatively expensive. The service however is friendly and helpfull. Nearby on the road to Bay View you can have an excellent Thai Massage. Next time we ll choose another accommodation with better accessibility to a nicer beach and more activity in the neighbourhood

A nice and pleasant place to spend your holidays. Access to a small beach under coconuttrees and shallow water that most of the times seems to be away so not so good for swimming, but a good pool at hand. Lively places ( Chaweng ) are at reach by taxi. I enjoyed the silence of the hotel place with its always friendly and helpful personell. Cleanliness o. k..

The Bay View Resort is in a beautiful location - right at the top end of Lamai beach (away from the busy, tecky main strip), with amazing views of the bay and sunset from rooms, restaurant and pool. We stayed in a cheaper bungalow which was on the small, dingy side but very clean and with a lovely balcony. The pool looks deceptively small, but for the size of the resort was perfect, and almost always empty every time we used it. Sunbeds were available for guests to use on the small beach below the resort and also around the pool. Rooms were also cleaned daily and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Bay View Resort!

We have just had a lovely 10 days at the Bay View Resort. Set at the very end of the beach the location is peaceful and very beautiful. The bungalows are positioned with privacy in mind in a very well kept tropical jungle like garden that has an impressive view as its name suggests. We had a sea view with air con which was very cosy and it was great to fall asleep and wake up to the gentle lapping of the waves. It had a feel like a tree house that you dream of as a child. These bungalows are small but really it s all you need. Our friends had a posher beach front bungalow which was much more spacious if you like more room. Because it s set on a hill there are lots of tricky little steps so older people should beware. The beach at the bottom is gorgeous soft sand and the resorts area is very private, separated by boulders from the rest of the long stretch that is also nice to walk down. The staff at Bay View are LOVELY. Apart from the security gaurds they are all female which gives a homely and gentle feminine approach to hospiality and they are so friendly and helpful with everything. Give them a big smile and they will do whatever they can to make sure you have a great stay. Say Hi to Nit from me. She speaks very good English and arranged a jeep for us at a very good price. The dogs Pakbung [Blondie] and Sing are Gorgeous and all part of the family. This is a place to get away from the busy and in some cases tackiness of Chaweng and Lamai but if you want to get a taxi at night for shopping or eating it is very easy to flag them down on the road. Or eat in peace at the resort. I would recommend Bay View Resort to families and couples looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay but the nearest towns are for the people who enjoy English pubs, burgers and chips and Go Go bars. This is not me so I preferred the solitude of the resort and have now moved up to the more classier area of Boput Fishing Village . However this area is more expensive.

Lovely resort, great private beach and good (small) pool for relaxing in. Close to the main resort of Lamai beach but also fairly secluded. Bungalows are lovely and staff are very accommodating. Service in the restaurant fairly slow if you are ordering in a large group. Our friends and we really enjoyed our 14 night stay here.

Very nice resort, wich is in the north of Lamai Beach, quiet, but within a walking distance of about 15 minutes to the center of Lamai. It has an excellent restaurant and a beautiful private beach, that is bayed by small standing stones. There are several different categories of bungalows, we had a small standard bungalow with fan. It was absolutely sufficiant for us.The service and management was good and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay!
