The hotel was in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from the beach
in one direction and 2 minutes from bars and resturants in the other,
yet beacuse it was down a side street, remained very quiet and peaceful.
The hotel was just what you d expect from a budget hotel, friendly,
clean, no frills. Only downside was the poor breakfast, but you
havent far to walk for a whole selection of breakfast options. |

Very nice, basic, comfortable hotel at an excellent price. The staff
were wonderful -- friendly, helpful, felxible -- and only charged
us for the days we stayed. We arrived late because of bad weather
in the Gulf of Thailand and left a day early because of the train
schedule. Everything was exactly as pictured or described on the
web site. Two adults and two children stayed in two rooms in the
main building and these were spacious for us with one double bed
and one single in each room. The pool was plenty large and surrounded
by mature shade trees. The location is not right on the beach but
just across the road from an access point to what we found to be
the best part of the beach. It is very near a place to rent chairs
and umbrellas for the day and vendors come along frequently with
food, etc. We spent all day every day on the beach, but could easily
walk back to the hotel to use the bathroom, etc. The location made
it very quiet as the hotel had no immediate neighbors, but it is
very convenient for going out to eat, shopping or to bars. |
