The rooms are very well appointed - v. comfortable beds. Great bathrooms etc. The bathroom is built into the natural boulders however and we did see a mouse run out of the gap on one occasion. We had the family bungalow which was great but way back from the sea with no sea view. Best to go for one of the front ones. The small coves were a long way down (quite rickety steps), but great fun for children when there - good swimming and lots of sea life to see snorkelling. However, there was lots of garbage left between the big boulders down there - it feels as though the hotel has just abandoned the coves - no sign of any care at all which is a real shame. Food in the restaurant was hit and miss, mostly miss, though breakfasts (included) were quite good. Nice swimming pool. Good cocktails. All in all, a nice place, but in dire need of a good manager to oversee it.

Hallo..., Zum Ressort: Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

This was a lovely hotel and we were very happy with it. It is a lttle far from Chawang but all the quieter for that. The staff were all very helpful, the service very personable, and the food very good and plentiful. The only small limitation would be in high season, when the pool would be really too small for everyone. That said, we will definitely go back there again.

Our stay at Coral Cove Chalets was exactly right after busy Bangkok. We chose a room in the new wing rather than a chalet although they looked lovely. The room was simply but adequately furnished and the view from the balcony was to die for! Service was courtious and restaurant buffet breakfast good. The restaurant also served good local food all day.A pleasant pool area and attractive gardens leading to a small beach added to our enjoyment although getting into the water would not be easy for small children.I would recommend Coral Cove Chalets to anybody wanting a quiet location not too far from more hectic nightlife. Not many places within walking distance but quite reliable local transport.

After busy Bangkok,Coral Cove Chalets was ideal to relax. We chose a room in the new wing although the chalets looked lovely. The room was simply but adequately furnished with a view from the balcony to die for. Buffet breakfast was good with attentive staff who continued to serve tasty local food all day.All staff were most helpful. Attractive gardens led down to a small secluded beach where swimming was possible, but would be difficult with small children. However,a shallow swimming pool with plenty of sun beds was available, together with a massage and spa area which was expensive compared with locals. Coral Cove is secluded and not ideal for an all singing all dancing sort of experience but if you are looking for a pleasurable relaxing time,it is superb. There are a few bar restaurants within walking distance but the road is quite busy and walking hazardous after dark. However local transport to Chaweng and Lamai is cheap and frequent.

We stayed in the sea view suite, very nice room, loads of privacy as your not over looked. Food was good and reasonably priced but the breakfast was cold every day! When you look at other hotels in the area of Chaweng and Lamai Coral cove has a distinct advantage over most of them....it s out of the way of all the bars and night life which can get same same after just one night but still close enough to indulge for just a few baht when you want. If you have the budget go for the suite because the other rooms looked small and only a handfull had veiws of the sea. Overall we had a great time and were very happy with the room and facilities Coral Cove had to offer but would only stay in the one room.

We were really pleased with the hotel and would definitely recommend it. It was conveniently located off the main road from Chaweng to Lamai, so transport was easy. We stayed in a Grand View Suite, which was very comfortable, and had a great terrace and day bed over-looking the cove. There are 2 small private beaches, and some snorkelling spots around the rocks. The pool was also nice, and the food served there was great and very reasonably priced. We also had quite a few treatments in the spa, which were excellent for a small hotel.

Lovely hotel with great facilities, superb self-contained chalets and beautiful private beaches. Coral Cove is a relatively quiet part of Koh Samui, but is only a short taxi ride away from Chaweng or Lamai beaches so bars, clubs and restaurants are easily accessible. If you re keen on snorkelling, Coral Cove is a particularly good place to stay because there is a coral reef just a few metres away from the shore which provides a home for several different types of tropical fish (angelfish, clownfish, etc.) and the water is often clear enough to see for several metres.
