Coco
Private Villas, Samrong Bay
This place is awful. The previous reviewer was being way too generous.
It is a total construction zone, the villas are hideous, there is
no service. There are so many things wrong with this place, I have
a hard time desrcribing it all - no true club house, the breakfast
area smelled of urine, no way to get from your room to the breakfast
area (luckily for us, a nice lady who cleaned rooms flagged down a
golf cart for us, otherwise we would have had to call from our international
phone to get a ride!!), there is no AC in the living quarters, the
courtyard area looks like a prison camp, the furnishings are spare
at best, the golf cart they did send for us couldn t make it up the
steep concrete hills, there was absolutely no security in our area
of the villas. Fortunately, we had only booked one night (we figured
if we liked the place we d extend). We were out of there by 9am. We
rented a car from a little shop across the street, and the woman said
she saw this all the time - people leaving incredibly pissed off.
And to top it off, it was really overpriced. I even found a website
dedicated to showing how much of a ripoff this place is, so it s not
just us! Samui is expensive, but you can get much nicer accommodations
for a similar price. We moved to Lamai Villas - so much character
and incredibly helpful people. |

Coco Private Villas, Samrong Bay
Coco Private Villa Resort is not completely finish yet, so you need
to check that you have ceiling fans in rooms plus air conditioning,
Vilas are huge and very clean. Pool area is great overlooking beach,
beach is good, We had a great time, people very friendly. I would
recommend staying their if you don t mind resort not totally finish.
When it is completed it will be fanastic. Weather was brillant |
