Susan Greenwell  2007-08-10 until 2007-08-17	First Bungalow Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach We were upgraded to a beach bungalow because our preferred room was not available the first night, and it was perfectly lovely! The rooms and pool were quite nice; beautiful breakfast location overlooking the sea. The hotel is located at the end of Chaweng, a bit of a walk from the main drag, but still very convenient for restaurants, bars, etc. The hotel staff were very helpful, particularly when we asked to extend our stay.
Michal Kosher  2007-08-01 until 2007-08-05	First Bungalow Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach We stayed at the hotel in the buildings room and it was a nightmare, the rooms were smelling so bed, like we were at the sewage, there was a problem with the shower it was very hard to work it up, at the last day we didn t have hot water, the staff at the reception weren t so friendly, and there was always a problem to get a towel at the pool or at the sea, the towels were very dirty most of the time. There were a lot of mosquitos near the room and we were stung threw the nights.The Hotel is far from the center and you must use a texi in order to get to the center and the prices are very high considering the prices in Thailnad. The things that we liked at the hotel were the breakfest, it was very good, they have a very good beach, and the restaurant at the hotel was nice with good food and reasonble prices. I certainly won t reccomand this hotel to anyone.
Anton Bashurov  2007-06-03 until 2007-06-05	First Bungalow Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach Nice hotel. Pool view is the best. 2th flor is twin beds only. Notice that. Breakfast is good. Pool is nice but have some broken bricks - few times hurt a legs. Overall - come back next time.
Wim Verhage  2007-04-21 until 2007-04-29	First Bungalow Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach Hotel is fine and located just outside the busy center of Chaweng. We stayed in the main building after a bad experience on a previous visit, when I booked an on the beach bungalow. These bungalows are really bad; old, not maintained and still in their late 70 s setup. Fortunately they allowed us to change to the main building, however no refund because the beach bungalows are almost twice as expensive as the (new) rooms in the main building. Reception staff is not very friendly and the staff at the breakfast facility is on automatic pilot.They have to do this every day and you can see that on their faces when they look at you...another tourist out of thousands day after day. I speak a little Thai, and they are making remarks about their guests entering the facility, especially the cooks when a foreigner walks in which happens to be married to a Thai lady like me. Great pool and very friendly and helpfull pool staff; good food at the pool. Strange that you have to walk to the beach to get a hotel towel for the swimming pool(so walk back again)

Gerry Morpeth  2006-11-24 until 2006-12-01	First Bungalow Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach The Deluxe room we were allocated on arrival having booked on the internet was very dated and dissappointing. We upgraded to a modernised beach bungalow which was superb. The stay was great, but the restaurant is poor with seriously good competition nearby and the beach which is fantastic needs cleaning of debris washed up. Not much fun sunbathing next to a tyre and bottle all week!

Grant  2006-10-23 until 2006-10-29	First Bungalow Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach Rooms where nice clean and good. Pool was large and nice, and great part of the beach. Takes a bit of a walk to get to the main shops etc, but only a short ride on a local bus, or just get a Scooter. Would stay there again.
Julian Croft  2006-10-19 until 2006-10-26	First Bungalow Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach Hotel was great with the best pool in Samui. Just out of the busy Cheweng shopping area in a nice quiet part of the beach. I would stay here again.
